Northwest Paralyzed Veterans

The Northwest Paralyzed Veterans of America has been advocating for veterans at local, state, and federal levels on all issues, in accordance with the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The mission of NWPVA is to:
• Ensure that all of our members have equal access to high quality healthcare
• Support research and education addressing spinal cord injury and disease
• Increase our members' awareness of the number of benefits that are available to them as a result of their military service and civil rights
• Increase the number of services and benefits available to our members at the local state and national levels
• Provide opportunities that maximize our members' independence and quality of life.

The Northwest Chapter was founded under the guiding principle of providing help to veterans with spinal cord injury or disease to its fullest capacity, as stated in our bylaws, and intended by our founding father, Jack Michaels.
