New Beech Grove

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the inspired word of God. We believe that this word is the standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions are tried.

We believe that there is only one True and Living God. He is revealed to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; without divisions of nature, essence, or being, and each having a distinct ministry in God’s relation to His creation and people.

We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and his full humanity and deity. We believe in His virgin birth, life without sin, His death upon the cross for our sins, His resurrection and ascension into Heaven as our advocate and intercessor (Romans 10:9).

We believe in the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity, who regenerates, indwells, baptizes, seals and anoints all who become children of God through Christ. We further believe that the Holy Spirit empowers, guides, teaches, sanctifies and fills all who daily surrender to him.

New Beech Grove also believes that the purpose of the church is to encourage, promote, and facilitate spiritual growth and transformation that comes as a result of following the example of Jesus Christ. We believe that God’s objective for the church is winning souls for the Kingdom of God
