Under the leadership of MPAC's Founder and Executive Director Entertainment Attorney Jalene Mack, its management team, administrative staff and board of directors, MPAC is dedicated to the formation of avenues into the professional world of entertainment through several programs.

I realized I had invaluable knowledge as a business woman, entertainment lawyer, playwright, producer and actress, and having a circle of high profile clients and industry colleagues ranging from all facets of performing arts, it gave me resources most often times out of reach of others. This was the opportunity to give back to my community, expand the growth of the performing arts industry, and make dreams come true.

MPAC'S IT'S A WRAP

MPAC prides itself on procuring Hollywood celebrities and leading industry experts to give back to the next generation of talent by teaching education workshops, participating in panel discussions and networking events through our education program, benefiting the youth and young adults, aspiring and veteran talent of performing and visual arts primarily in the areas of acting, theater, TV/film/radio, comedy, music and writing.

Some of our guests speakers have included Roland Martin, Sherri Shepherd, Kym Whitley, Chris Spencer, Guy Torry, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Gary Owen, Marcus Wiley, Malik Yoba, Golden Brooks, Billy D. Washington, Thomas Miles aka Nephew Tommy, Ali Siddiq and Kier Spates along with an amazing host of TV and film producers, writers, playwrights, casting directors, agents, managers, attorneys and many more.

MPAC'S PLAYHOUSE THEATER

MPAC presents theatrical productions of new and established playwrights through its theater program. This creates an outlet for new playwrights, actors, technicians and enlightens a new audience for theater. In addition to plays, MPAC produces a bi-annual comedy showcase and bi-annual summer series.

MPAC'S COMMUNITY OUTREACH

MPAC's mission to cultivate the interest of performing arts by exposing, educating and entertaining our youth is met through this very program by presenting our guest speakers and industry experts directly to the schools to share their knowledge in the areas of performing and visual arts that may encourage success. Moreover, the high school students are awarded scholarships by MPAC allowing them to attend the education workshops absolutely free! Nothing like FREE education AND instruction from the best on how to be successful!

MPAC'S JAZZ REVOLUTION

In addtion to our main focus of acting, theater, TV/film/radio, comedy, and writing, MPAC provides a limited music program that in part produces an annual jazz concert featuring local and national artists and groups. The program seeks to produce a meaningful jazz experience in a quest to develop a new jazz culture.

MPAC serves the Houston Metropolitan Area, Southwest Region of the US, and performing and visual arts enthusiasts including talent and lovers of entertainment from all over the globe. We've had attendants from as far away as London. Hollywood is not just in LA now. Ultimately, MPAC hopes to help build Houston as an entertainment mecca comparable to the likes of Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, New Orleans and other industry progressive cities.
