About Liz Colletts GC Line Dancers
Liz Collett's Gold Coast Line Dancers is located in Nerang and Warwick in Queensland. We dance for fun & fitness with a touch of class! Our classes cover any skill level, as we've been teaching line dancing since 1993 and were formally established in 1996. Liz has a great deal of local and international experience in teaching line dancing, having been invited to teach at several workshops in Australia as well as China, NZ and USA. Liz has taken dance groups to Beijing and Xian by invitation, warmly welcomed and treated to many exciting experiences. In 2011 Liz was awarded Line Dance Instructor of the year in Tamworth.
Line dancing is a non-contact and non-gender choreographed sequence of steps in which a group of people dance in one or more lines or rows. It is sometimes combined with other dance programs or forms of country-western dance, such as two-step, western promenade dances, western-style variants of the waltz, polka and swing. Line dancing has also accompanied many popular music styles since the early 1970s including pop, swing, rock and roll, disco, Latin, rhythm and blues, and jazz.
