My friends and I wandered onto YouTube one day to learn how to correctly blow wave African hair (we were tired of paying so much at the salon for the experience). That simple search opened up the world of hair Journey’s to us all and we have never looked back.

I’m here to prove that this here ‘hair journey’ is a marathon and not a sprint! And I’m committed to fabulous hair all the time no matter the length or if I am texlaxed or natural or anything in between.

Who is Kangopie

I was born and raised in Zimbabwe, and I found a home in South Africa. I am a genuine 100% Child of the African soil. Right now this seems obvious, but when I get to Mid Back length hair people will start questioning my ancestry. (These are good future problems to have LoL).
