Meridian School District No. 2

I'm trying to use it on my nook but it does a force close and won't open. I'd love to be able to use this so I hope the bugs get fixed.

Works 1 out of 20 times when checking grades... Ahhhhh

Seems to function fine. The power school portion... Doesnt seem to have a current grade listing for each class or overall GPA. Keep tweeking it and it will be a useful tool.

This app is not easy to use, does not include lunch menus, and does not seem to have any new or up to date content.

Doesn't have vital information such as attendance line phone number for school. Also PowerSchool hasn't worked in months which was the primary reason I used it.

no snow day or inservice notifications amd they have now removed school lunch menus- the main reason to use this app on the fly. Worthless and waste of taxpayer money.

The idea is great, but the execution is lacking. It probably works 1 time out of 10 properly.

What a crock of crap

When school was canceled no notice was sent. Very good for sending ads though, you'll get them anytime after 7am. There is a lot other junk on this app, like social media, that is not useful.

Very disappointed they have decided to allow push notifications for advertising. I installed this app to keep up with district information, not to learn when I can save money on floral arrangements.

This app has become an ad delivery service. I don't need ads in my notifications.

The app crashes periodically on both versions I have installed. Info is out of date (lunch menus) so it provides little value. Hopefully the hugs get ironed out soon because it would be a valuable tool

Why does this app require so many permissions? It seems a bit excessive to have access to sms, camera, make calls, etc. Lowering to one star because the app has no notification or news that school was cancelled for snow today. Really not useful other than a link to the district web page. Update 4/2014: app stops working every time it tries to send a notification. When I manually open the app to read the alerts some are advertisements for local companies. Uninstalling. It is not useful in any way.

Slow to update menus, no snow day or inservice notifications. I applaud the school district for making this app, now lets get up to minute information. Ps the push advertising is 100% totally unacceptable.

It loads up rather slow regardless of what network I am on, with my Nexus 5. The splash screen is improperly scaled on my 1080p display. No pinch to zoom support makes navigation on power schools and menus difficult. Hope it'll be worked on.

The lunch menus need to be updated by the first of the month.

This app crashes all the time and causes other apps to crash if I'm using them when a notification comes through on my GS4.

The app is useful for students, parents, teachers and everyone who wants to know what's happening in the school district. It is good to access grades and assignments, lunch menu, calendar, etc. with mobile phone.

On LTE phones. If u have a 3g or lower grade smartphone it might slow ur device. Great app!

App seems useful. But I'd like the option of choosing the school or schools that my kids go to and getting all the same info just for those schools. That would make EXTREMELY useful.

This app is awesome. It helps me keep up with the school activities.

Keeps telling me that my child's account information is incorrect, yet I can access PowerSchool from my home computer using the same information. I've tried using all caps and lowercase with the account ID.

Worked good first time then i exited the app and tryed getting back on earlier and now it wont let me get on power school

It kept force closing so I had to uninstall
