We honor the classical method as taught by Joe to Romana, who taught Amy and Rachel, who taught us. So you might consider us three steps removed from the source, but the direct lineage to Joe is a very important distinction in the Bay Area. And yes, our lineage is more in keeping with the East Coast school than the West. From our teachers to our continuing ed program, our approach is very much aligned with Joe’s original “Contrology” prescription……physical fitness for the body, mind and spirit.
