The school advised iPhone users that it would ask for location (a criteria I always deny anyway) , but android also want access to contacts, media, photos etc?! No chance. I'll be informing the school too, I'm deleting the app until it's amended

The school clarified the permissions required. It's to access function on your phone (to make it work) NOT the phone contents. Much happier and nice to see them using new tech to help parents.

Why moan about permissions? I see no issue with a location permission as the school have a record of my home address anyway!
