Bourbon Beauty

I began blogging in 2006, mainly about my experience moving from Chicago to Louisville, Kentucky. 6 years, 2 kids, 3 blogs, & hundreds of wine bottles later, I'm finally a bit more familiar with my surroundings. I now write about my lifestyle in and around our town- specifically about Culture, Beauty, Fashion & Food. I enjoy exploring Louisville, and experiencing everything that it has to offer.

When I'm not busy writing, or tending to my husband & 2 children, I can be found testing out new products (Beauty Posts found here), cooking new ethnic foods for my blog (sometimes heirloom Mexican recipes passed down from my grandmother or mom, all recipes found here), or frequenting flea markets for things I really don't need... but convince myself I do (vintage pyrex anyone?)! I love going out and experiencing new things, I'm incredibly excited to be able to share that.
