About Aquamums
Aquamums runs aqua fitness classes for pregnant and post-natal women. We provide a socially fun and comfortable way to keep fit and help your body prepare for childbirth with muscle toning, enhancing mobility and flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, and with emphasis placed on the specific strengthening of deep abdominals and pelvic floor muscles. Our focus is the health, wellbeing and safety of pre and post natal women. As the buoyancy of water enables a low impact workout, without body strain or stress, our classes are also ideal for women with back pain or pelvic girdle pain.
Aquamums is located in six great locations around Melbourne, with daytime and evening classes available in the CBD, Armadale, Ashburton, St. Kilda, Kew, and Cheltenham.
We've been operating for over 20 years with our highly qualified and experienced physiotherapists, and our classes are rebatable on Private Health Insurance Extras.
