El SEMINARIO CONCILIAR DE MEXICO es una institución tricentenaria de la Arquidiócesis de México al servicio de la formación sacerdotal de los jóvenes aspirantes a vivir su vocación en el sacerdocio diocesano, es decir, en el servicio pastoral a la Iglesia que peregrina en la Ciudad de México.
El Seminario Conciliar de México tiene como misión ser una comunidad que forma humana, espiritual, académica y pastoralmente a varones que aspiran al sacerdocio ministerial para servir a la Iglesia universal, particularmente en la Arquidiócesis de México, para la evangelización de las personas y de las culturas presentes en ella, al modo de Cristo Sacerdote, Pastor, y Maestro.
