A&J King Artisan Bakers

A&J King Artisan Bakers was opened with the simple goal of becoming the neighborhood bakery for Salem, MA. While the bakery has grown and its products can now be found in many locations other than its home city, the owners and bakers continue to bake with small-batch methods and greet our customers with small-town courtesy.

It’s our goal to continue the traditions set forth by craft bakers of the past, and to partner with other artisans who work to preserve methods that are threatened in an increasingly on-demand world. What makes these breads and pastries great is not that we are making them, but rather the centuries-old traditions by which we are guided. We are just followers of an older path.
