The Headache Center

This clinic is owned and operated by Christina Treppendahl, a family nurse practitioner that has over 4 years experience in headache medicine. She has documented over 5000 headache clinic visits per year since 2010. She is a national speaker for 3 migraine-specific pharmaceutical companies.

Her clinic is dedicated to advancing headache medicine, and thus, they have invested time and money in training a research coordinator that will enable volunteers in Mississippi to enroll in national clinical trials that will result in FDA-approved treatments for primary headache disorders. Her amazing staff has over 60 years of combined nursing experience. The clinic is committed to treating headaches without the use of dangerous narcotics, benzodiazepines, and barbiturates. In an effort to keep headache sufferers out of the Emergency Department and out of drug rehab, they have set up an infusion center designated for the acute treatment of intractable headaches.

Christina works closely with the American Headache Society, the Southern Headache Society and the National Headache Foundation. She has direct access to the experts in headache research and care that set the national standards of care. These include Drs. Ira M. Turner, Fred Freitag, Peter Goadsby, and Roger Cady.
