What are users saying about SAT Vocabulary

T70%
by T####:

Many of the definitions are flat wrong, for example: velocity is defined as rapid motion. This will screw up your brain.

T70%
by T####:

Nothing special. Just a bunch of words and definitions. Would prefer them used in a sentence.

T70%
by T####:

Definitions are too vague, interface is unpractical

K70%
by K####:

Add support for tablets.

T70%
by T####:

Not so great

G70%
by G####:

Too many easy words not worth having to look at

T70%
by T####:

Not bad but there is no fast access

K70%
by K####:

Very nice. But if you creat another app for sat math formulas and critical reading =perfect.

L70%
by L####:

There is a shuffle button..press menu then random

S70%
by S####:

Plz can you put a search button and I will rate five

T70%
by T####:

Very useful and nice

S70%
by S####:

Should have lists so you can pick the words you want to learn

I70%
by I####:

Doesn't help one learn.

Z70%
by Z####:

The mark button doesn't work, dumb words like "venom' keep popping up even though marked

O70%
by O####:

Excellent app, esp. For a demo!

S70%
by S####:

It works well. I'm glad it has a lot of words only it could eliminate about half of them.

H70%
by H####:

Amazing

Y70%
by Y####:

Would get 5 stars if it included the pronunciation for each word. A favorites option would be great too.

S70%
by S####:

U should be able to select words not familiar with to go back to later & review.. It'd be REALLY helpful

S70%
by S####:

Will be better if there is pronunciation of words.

E70%
by E####:

Whats the point of the prev button if it switches to a random word. Dumb app.

S70%
by S####:

Vague definitions, wish I could mark a list to return to

S70%
by S####:

Works great on Android. It does have a random feature.

S70%
by S####:

Navigation buttons in the program are too small and not always responsive. Moto droid2

S70%
by S####:

I would switch around the marking function...instead of marking the words you do know, mark the words you don’t know.

S70%
by S####:

Just took the SAT none of the words I studied came up

S70%
by S####:

I like it! A word for everyday! Samsung Intercept

R70%
by R####:

Didn't find the vocabulary challenging enough...

Z70%
by Z####:

I wish I could recommend this app. A nice clean design, minimal distractions, no ads. Unfortunately it is ruined because many of the definitions are circular, contain typos, or are simply wrong, or even contain some kind of gibberish (abstinence: "self-denial"; abrasion: "that which is rubbed off"; aboveboard: "& adj"; acclaim: "to utter with a shout", accomplish: "to bring to passaccordion n"; and this is just the first few A's...) Almost half the definitions are questionable, and the word choice, while obviously subjective, seems questionable ("accouter"?).

Y70%
by Y####:

You are able to 'mark' words, but that only prevents them from showing up again. It would be better if you could save words to review later.

T70%
by T####:

Easy to use, simple, and contains a very large collection of words! Perfect.

Y70%
by Y####:

Do not download if you're looking to expand your vocabulary. If you have an 8th grade reading level you should be able to know most of these.

Y70%
by Y####:

Slot of the words are wrong, like I'm pretty sure aboriginal does not mean primitive

B70%
by B####:

This is so cool. I really really want an app like this for flash cards in general because I need it to study. Please!

Y70%
by Y####:

Please implement this "Slide to Next/Previous" and 5 *'s for sure :D Great Work building this app !!!

U70%
by U####:

5000 words? That's too many. At least tell me which ones I absolutely need to know.

L70%
by L####:

Many of the definitions are blatantly wrong, and desperately need to be fixed. The app also needs a way to rapidly skip to different words and search

Y70%
by Y####:

Does just what it says, nothing more. The buttons could be bigger, and in random mode the word changes with the orientation.

T70%
by T####:

Can option buttons be placed close together on top for one handed operation?! Have to keep using two hands just to switch words : (

V70%
by V####:

it would be better if it had pronunciation guide, or if it said the words.
