Rita's Ice

Come on guys, it shouldn't be that hard to make an app that actually works! The old version would always be problematic to get the scanner to work but it did for the most part. With this fancy new update it has totally stopped working. I want my free ice and I can't get that if the scanner isn't working!

1) hard to scan the code and employees don't know the code so you can't type it in. 2) you can only get 1 scan/stamp per day it looks like, no matter how many things you buy so you can't really get rewarded faster for being a better paying customer unlike at Starbucks where the more you buy the more you get rewarded. 3) would be better if we have the code and you guys scan us per item so we can get more stamps and you know it's not us cheating. 4) The app doesn't even display flavors of the stores like the yogurt land app does.

Why can't you just list the flavors that are at all the different locations. That is we need! Your stupid rewards program can go touch it self in the corner with all of the stupid ice cream flavors of water ice.

First time use and scanning didn't work, even after multiple attempts. The store employee entered their code multiple times, as did I, and still no go.

I can't get back into my account it doesn't recognize my email!!!! I'm so mad

I have had no problems go all the time great friendly service apps work great you just have to follow directions simple simple never a problem. Go 2 to 3 times a week

I purchased 9 individual items but you only get 1 scan. Selfish app. Regret downloading.

Doesn't work at my local store. Missed out 3 rewards. Just go back to paper.

This app worked for me last year..but this year a no go..keeps saying cannot locate my stores location...

I love it becuase i can get rewards and im always at rita

Works as long as the permissions are enabled.

Rarely scans the QR code, so you cant get rewards (clever). The rewards that you do manage to earn disappear before they can be redeemed! The customer service/tech support is a joke with this app. Its really not worth the hassle. I dont see how they managed to screw up such a simple and basic concept.

The app works well enough for me but to scan for a visit towards an award, the camera is reversed (i.e., needs to be mirrored so it's not upside down, etc) on my Nexus 5X. This was a common problem in lots of apps when it first came out, as they need to be built with a newer SDK to avoid this as I recall. In any case it's surprising that a widely used app still has this issue at this point in time.

This app is the worst thing to happen to Rita's rewards... It rarely works, which the employees I've had said happens 'a lot of the time' and yet they didn't offer an alternative towards the reward.

I can't even get back in to my account, it keeps saying try later. This update is horrible

Oh yay they updated their app. Now can't login and lost all my punches. Even better they don't respond to emails.

It scans the code succefully at the store maybe half of the time. More of a pain than its worth. You look like some type of cheep skate in front of your neighbors using it.

I tried downloading this app 2 times and each time it says "unfortunately, Rita's Ice has stopped.

I've been to three Rita's since I downloaded the new app and it hasn't worked yet. I tried to put in Store number as that is the only "code" the salesperson knew to try. Still didn't work. I had only 1 or 2 to go on my old app. And now I'll probably never redeem my free Rita's. At least put a code on receipt so we can enter in manually.

I've tried to use this app multiple times and it doesn't work. I think it actually scanned a code once since install.

Works well. Thanks for the free ice! Scanner worked in portrait position. Haven't tried in landscape yet.

App crashes everytime i try to scan qr code.. fix please

Have a Rita's account but changed phones and had to install the new app. Won't recognize my old login and says my email is incorrect. Tried to create a new account and it never completes, even with another email address.

I lost punches for a free ice when this updated.

Would love a menu option (that wasn't social media based) for a store locator with current flavor list.

Need to go outside to scan points.

The app cannot locate the Ritas in my area. The coupons will not punch without the location

Doesnt work. Stays on home page. Uninstalled it.

Even after getting the password reset email with the temporary password, the app still won't log me in.
