Called the “Island of Peace”, Gyodong-do preserves the 70 years of division history. In Gyodong-do, the Ganghwa Nadeul-gil no.9 course (Gyodong-do Daeulsae-gil) and no.10 course (Gyodongdo Meoreume-gil) are well-established around the coastline and the village. The trip begins at Daeryong Market, the center of Gyodong-do, and climbs up to the peak of Hwagae Mountain to pass Gyodong eupsung (Walled Town) and Namsan Harbor along the seaside path to Wolseonpo.
