BIKINI - Body shaping App for Android
I'll avoid the ethical debate of the app review. Americans are self-righteously opinionated enough - technically, it's difficult to work with. Especially the enlarge/reduce circles. And, as others have said, reduces the image quality. And if I remember correctly, won't save to ext. SD card.
Never spent so much time reading reviews. Both sides have valid points. Young girls, the real secret is to realize that everywhere you go, for the rest of your life, you will be shamed by many, praised by few, and judged by all. At times you put up to high where all you have is down, put down so low you have to dig up to solid ground. To some you're too much and to the rest not enough. Love yourself & others will too. Or not... who cares?
People who are giving it a low review bc it's "body shaming" that's not what a review is for. Does the app do what it is intended to do? That's what a review is for. Not whether or not it's an app that's morally right to have. I give it a 3 because it does do what it's supposed to do except it makes the pictures blurry and low quality. So in a way, it's pointless. If that was to be fixed though, it would be perfect.
Stop instilling women insecurities, especially in teenage girls. This is cultivating media-brainwashing. Stop feeding this toxic mindset. Dev, by creating apps like this, you encourage people to follow the ridiculous society standard. Shame. Use your skills wisely! And to you girls, LOVE YOUR BODY. Sexy is honesty. Sexy is being confident about yourself. Altering your looks is the opposite. It proves low self esteem and that's not appealing at all. You only attract trashy shallow guys if anything !!
It's apps like these that encourage eating disorders in young men and women. I found this app on my 12 year old cousins phone. Don't get me wrong, editing selfies is fine. But by promoting this sort of editing, you are promoting eating disorders such as anorexia or bulimia. Not to mention this is clearly an attempt to body shame those who are not a size 4 or smaller.
Does a pretty good simple job of making subtle changes to body shape. It's not photoshop, but it does a neat job of not distorting everything else in the picture. Kind of cool that once you understand the tools they can be used on other parts of the body. ie: the hip tool is also a pretty good boob tool.
I tryed this app on my 3 year old daughter to slim her down Cus she is very chubby but when I closed the app down I looked at her and she was still chubby please fix and I'll change it to 5 star!! But why do all these skinny people rating this app assume that people only use this app to just slim down? It could be used to size up if your too thin too I think it says a lot about them no? Kids all over cry them self's to sleep over apps like this.too fat too thin we all feel shame!! This app Hurts everyone!!
I know his may seem harsh but as a teenage girl myself I see daily how this affects girls self-esteem. I have friends who use apps like this because they think it makes them more desirable, but I think that they shouldn't need to. People should feel comfortable in their skin or do something positive to change it, rather than pretending to be someone they want to be. Just how I see it.
You can still love your body and use this app. Stop telling people what to do, you sound annoying. If I want to use the app then I will. Just because you THINK people use it thanks to insecurities doesn't mean people REALLY ARE insecure. Mind your own business.
But in reality they are watching celebrities and Hollywood movies everyday, and they are the REAL problem of "body shaming" and loss of self-respect in the young population. This app has nothing to do with it, they are just helping people achieve what they want to look like, which is what they see on tv, Facebook, instagram, magazines, etc. Don't blame the app(which helps poor girls who are ashamed because of society), blame the real problem.
I can't believe the girls on here giving this app a bad rating because they are self conscious that they're too fat. New flash ladies- sometimes, PEOPLE ARE FAT. And they should be ashamed. The whole "fat pride" thing is just another made up thing so obese people feel better about themselves. If someone has an eating disorder, its not over apps like this.
Chaotic zalic the magic. I'm sure it was the only one of the awsome elements of this communication in a few years ago and I am a very good condition. It will not be the first to write about the new one. I'm a big
It lowers the quality of my photos... They aren't easy to look at without mentally trying to make the image clear and crisp again. It's annoying.. Other than that works fine for the little tweaks I may need
Really liked this app until I saved the edited pic and realised it saves in such low quality that I would never share it. Also there is no zoom so hard to edit accurately.
Don't listen to magazines, don't listen to advertisements, everyone is beautiful. Men, women, your gorgeous who you are. It took several years to love who I am, but it's worth. Don't photoshop to look thinner, make goals for yourself, do it yourself, it's more rewarding ❤
The editing is good but it makes the pictures look super blurry. So basically it's pointless of an app unless they enhance the picture quality.
I love it...It works but it ruin the picture quality... That sucks... I don't use it because I'm insecure it jus fix my pose a little bit better! ... Its jus the appp i was lookin for u save my business! Please fix the quality results
The app doesn't load any picture from my device. Taking a picture seems to work fine. Is there anything I should know in order to load pictures or is it the app that has a bug ? Thanks in advance for your answer
Stop. People should love them for who they are is bullshit. This ain't body shaming. Stop telling people what to do. Fat people should feel bad (if they are not having eating disorders and other diseases) about themselves. You can go and lose weight. This whole "love yourself for you are and you are gorgeous" is just made for fat people to make them feel ok about themselves.
The app seems to do what it says it does. But frankly, I'm tired of the arguing here and the misuse of sociopolitical terms. First of all, the word "feminist" is tossed around incorrectly as a word to describe a self-entitled or overly extreme liberal woman. In reality, a feminist is a woman who is smart enough, ambitious enough, and motivated enough to choose equality, independance, and career over traditional chivarly and male-presided family. They want an egalitarian society, not a gyneocracy. Get your terms and concepts straight before you further malign a noble cause. Second, this isn't body shaming. If body shaming really had a major impact, youse see alot more girls deliberately going out of their way to not get fat, doing research on why they have weight oroblems in the first place. Considering most give up or never start this, you are blowing the intent and effect of this app way out of proportion. Third, it is not healthy to be underweight nor overweight. If your metabolism is fast, such that you can't gain weight, then you need to eat more and more often. If your metabolism is slow such that you can't lose weight, then you need to eat less since your body stores food longer and want your body to consume the stored fat. Both underweight or overweight people are at increased health risk later in life. Neither are anything to be proud of. Only a moderate, healthy weight is worth aspiring to.
alright Crabtree. Your a jackass ! Let me know when you find your perfect little fantasy world free of women who want nothing to do with breast augmentation. VIVA LA SEXISM !
I am a teenage girl okay? And this doesn't affect my self-esteem, it's all about your view point, if you want to feel bad and mourn because you think you're fat, it's your loss, I'm a bit chubby btw, if you want, you can use this to see how you would look if you got a healthier lifestyle, this does not promote eating disorders or body shaming, stop being assholes, instead of saying those things encourage teenage girls how have this app to actually achieve a healthier lifestyle, call down girls.
It works surprisingly well. I wasn't expecting much, and I was pleasantly surprised. The only complaints I have is that some of the size adjustment on the tools are slightly annoying, and there are some issues when lines overlap.
This makes people feel insecure about what they look like normally. I downloaded this for a laugh then I realized people actually use this to look differently and I made me feel horrible about the way people see themselves.
The app is OK, but the controls are not sensitive enough. I wish there was a better way to control size and such. The concept is obviously sexist, but this review is based on execution.
It made my legs really long thats about it. I dont know what all these people are talking about body shaming. It made my body look like a dorito with legs. I dont know any young girls wants to look like that.
This app is not bad for self esteem lol. If you want it you gotta work for it. I think its a perfect way to see what you can look like if you work for it. Amazing app
I like this app so that I have something to expect as I tone my body. This app can bring different effects to everyone, but for me, this surely boosts my confidence because I have a goal I want to achieve in a healthy way.
I like it because u can edit pics and make them look realistic without stretching or making the background look funny I didn't give five stars at it does slightly lower the quality making it look blury it's best for touch ups x...btw this body shaming thing is ridiculous u really don't have to download the app lol if somebody wants to touch a pic up so what ...
Lol, I think what people are trying to say is stop playing catfish with people unless your going to stay in the house. Like who don't know your ugly, lol.
I hope it has more features. And in the beginning it was working fine, but now some of the features has stop working for eg : chin reduction and eye enlarged please fix it
I can't believe the girls on here giving this app a bad rating because they are self conscious that they're too fat. New flash ladies- sometimes, PEOPLE ARE FAT. And they should be ashamed. The whole "fat pride" thing is just another made up thing so obese people feel better about themselves. If someone has an eating disorder, its not over apps like this.
I dont like plastic surgery but i guess making myself thin is fun
After you do all the changes and save the pic, it looks blurry and loses all the quality of the image!!!!
you can't even see the photo after saving it the quality is so bad
I needed thin my neck and ARMS , and the Blemish feature, You have to dot, dot, dot! and then looks blurred!DND!
NOW I CAN MAKE KATE UPTON EVEN MORE PERFECT WITH THIS
This made me really self cautious about my body. I thought it was just going to be putting some bikini on a girl but it's not.
Great using the shrinker makes it look a little fake but other than that its okay

It's not supposed to be for body shaming, a lot of girls are just using it to see what they would look like thinner so they can achieve their goals in a HEALTHY way. Not all thin people are anorexic they just have a healthy lifestyle. I'm not thin I'm a bit chubby but I love my body and you should too. Everyone is beautiful in their own way and you should never try to be anyone else.
