NRT Mau Rakau Kura

NRT Mau Rakau kura has been established in Turanganui a Kiwa since 2009. NRT stands for Nga Rakau Tapu o Te Atua Mau Rakau kura. The core essence of the kura is leadership and passing down the generations the ancient arts of Mau Rakau essentially Taiaha, with other connections to other martial arts. Founding Tutor Mike Timu has been doing the art since 1992 under Koro Mita H Mohi of Te Arawa. A major acknowledge goes back to Koro Mita and his Iwi for allowing us to learn this handed down from father to son Art.
