Mears Taxi

Downloaded, registered and uninstalled within 5 minutes. Could not find something as simple as a days inn. Typing days inn pulled up laquinta and Fairfield inn. Putting in the actual address showed 0 results. I'm never compelled to write reviews, but this app is truly garbage.

If this app doesn't work as well as Uber's app, why would I want to use this taxi company? I want to be able to see the rate of my route and be able to track my driver.

This yellow taxi idiot was the in the right turn lane and then turned left instead and made me wait so like wtf i hate mears now

I've been unable to register an account. Input fields all put text in email address field only.

When the app works, it's awesome...But it stops and closes way too often for a higher scored review.

Taxis don't turn up and when they do they drive off

Everytime I order my cab and it goes to 'processing order' the screen goes white. Then, the app resets, but my order goes through. I would just like to see where my cab is at.

I had booked a taxi two weeks prior and received my email conformation. A week later I checked the app to make sure it was still booked but it said that my trip was cancelled and to call. I didn't call and clicked the cancel button. The day of my trip I received a phone call from a man saying they were working on getting my taxi. Wtf! Don't use the app. It's confusing. I suggest just calling Mears.

Checking notifications reboots the app. Will report bookings as having error status, without explanations. Just call, it will be less frustrating. Or take your business to someone with a functioning app.

Been totally difficult to get a taxi between 2am-6am. Making me late to work. It is dispatch's fault.

The drivers smell, filthy cars, long waits, they smoke! And to lock people in the car until the tip.....hell no!! You are the worst mears!

When it did work, it worked great, otherwise you will be using that call feature which is good to have at least.

They made my grandmother cry last night on her way to the airport not really feeling like discussing the story just know I'm never using this again

I appreciate not being hit with surge prices. And they have cameras in the car for my safety and my girlfriend when she rides alone.. NO AC in the uber wtf. At least Mears cabs are maintained

The drivers do not speak English.

Geo location was not accurate

I've used this app multiple times, and each time the cab has no idea where I am (though the app shows specifically where I'm at). The last time the driver just picked up other passengers, and I ended up waiting 45 minutes in the rain for another cab. Just call. The app is a waste of time.

Long wait time, crappy customer service and the app sucks also! Not convenient what so ever, don't call them advance and schedule for an appointment because no guarantee they will even show up

We booked a taxi with this app, and were waiting for pickup. Hit the hamburger / options button only to have the taxi immediately canceled!! Massive user experience failure, at least confirm before canceling! That button should never ever invoke such an action anyway. We had to re-book which resulted in the app getting us a completely different driver. Not sure what happened to the driver of the original request who had already come most of the way.

I used the app to order a cab 30 minutes prior to the time I needed to leave, only to finally get a cab assigned 2 hours after the time I booked it for. Even worse, I live less than 20 minutes from 2 places where they have several cabs waiting. When I called about it I was basically told drivers get to choose which calls they take, so since I wasn't a quick turn around run, I get to be ignored.

Its the 2nd time that we got booked but with the first one the driver picked up another passenger and left us hanging and the 2nd one just passed by

App is decent but it is also HUGE and refuses to be moved to SD storage. Make the app movable and it will be 4 starts or better.

Please add the ability to book a Town Car or luxury vehicle!

They give up when they can't find your address idiots for drivers

This company is very expensive! Uber or Lyft is much better! Orlando taxis drivers are really bad. Don't use Mears! Bad service and very expensive prices. I hope uber offer more options like Black car or SUVS.

So good being able to book and pay for cabs. I have saved my regular addresses and home. So easy to use. Love it!

Granted it was new years, but don't take my reservation if you're only going to tell me that they can't be there and that I have to go to an area 5 blocks away where OTHER cabs can pick me up! Unreliable.

App does not work after lollipop update

Not reliable. Sent me a text that a taxi was coming then it never came. This happened on several occasions which lead to me waiting hours. The customer service was terrible and their communication poor. This could be isolated to just me but I'm unhappy and feel they lack customer appreciation.
