To begin using the Freedom Taxi application today:
• Download the free app
• Create an account (Email, Name, Phone # and Password)
• Validate your account (via the confirmation email you receive)
• Login to the app (Email & Password)
• Enter your pickup address
• Enter your destination address (this allows us to provide an estimated fare amount)
• Book your trip (reservations can be immediate or for a future time/date)
On booking a reservation, you will immediately receive a confirmation number, along with an update when your vehicle has been assigned. From here you can monitor the progress of your vehicle as it moves towards your pickup location.
The Freedom Taxi application retains a history of your previous reservations (up to 30 days) for expense management and to quickly rebook the same trip with the push of a button. You may also create a list of favorite locations (Home, Work, etc.) to speed the booking process.
You can also customize your orders by selecting the number of passengers, preferred vehicle type, and preferred method of payment. These preferences can be saved to your account profile for future bookings.

Personally, I have had no issues with the app. It works as intended. Cab arrives quickly, drivers have all been friendly, and helpful with loading and unloading when necessary. They use mostly Toyota so you're not crammed into the back of a retired police vehicle with no foot room. They're clean. I got into one recently and it was a brand new vehicle. Their prices are the same as other cab companies. I see no reason to use another company.

The cab company does not call you when the cab gets outside. The GPS map is delayed, so that will not tell you when you're cab is outside either. They won't wait for you and don't even call you or alert you on the app when they are outside so hopefully you don't need to be anywhere on time if you use this service. They also won't pick you up at the address you specify, so look for them 1-2 blocks away from where you told them.

This app is functionally worthless. Reserved a cab with it, but somebody else got in. Tried to call but was redirected to an automated voice system. What's the point of this app if it doesn't actually get you a cab?

App works well, but the service is as bad as everyone else has reviewed. The very first time I used the app, the assigned cab never even got close to me from the GPS view - blocks away - and just picked up another fare.

On four different occasions. Different dates. I waited (sometimes up to an hour) for cabs that never arrived. Drivers routinely cancel your request. And after calling in, I'm usually told the driver "mistakenly" picked someone else up. Without notice to you. This app would be great if the drivers were great.

This is the 3rd time I've had a taxi I called for stop within a block from me and pick someone else up. Pathetic "service". I'm sticking with Uber 100% now. Even for short rides.

I put in for a pickup at n broad to 30 st station. Apparently that is out of their pickup area... Uh, that's right smack in the middle of PPA's flat fare zone. Then I called them, they picked up the wrong guy sent another cab which never showed...

The day Victory Cab merged with Freedom Taxi, there service became excellent to disgustingly poor. A reliable cab company biting the dust...sigh...

I booked a cab 2 hours in advance and was never picked up -- despite this, I received an e-mail receipt for the $3.70 minimum trip fare anyway. Missed a very important meeting. Calling Freedom Taxi multiple times resolved nothing. Avoid this like the plague.

As with anyone else who ever books freedom taxi...drivers constantly cancel fairs they DONT want and it leaves you stuck. Actually pick up people and that'd be great.

App assigned a cab the night before, taxi arrived 10 minutes before scheduled. I wish there was a way to inform the cab that we would be out through the phone. Otherwise I would recommend their service for trips to the airport, PHL.
