Boston Cab

Assigned me a cab that was 1 block away. I waited for 10 minutes and called. They said the cab driver would call me so I waited another 5 minutes. I checked the map again and my cab was 6 blocks away going in the wrong direction!!!!

Requires your Location. Otherwise it does nothing. Mostly satisfied.

They take anybody else when you order them you can't trust them

I downloaded and deleted this app once before because I thought it was average and didn't need it anymore. Boston cab, however, decided that you can't get price estimates online. Now it won't load past the title screen.

Only used it once so far. Cab showed up on time and called when at the door. Easy!

App sucks, the service sucks, they are the absolute worst. They're super rude, just crappy in general. Never use them.

I was double charged on my very first trip. I called and emailed to let them know a week ago. Still no response. Guess I'll have to dispute with my credit card company. And now when I try to use the app, it tells me that I'm outside of their coverage area. Southie and seaport are no longer covered by Boston cab?? I doubt that's the case.

Half the time the app doesn't start and there's no context menu. So that means half the time the app is useless.

Yet another cab app that doesn't work and every time I call boston cab, I get a busy signal. Never using boston cab again

Just makes you create an account, and crashes when you try to log in. Embarrassing.

I reserved a cab 2 hours in advance. No cab showed up. I checked the application status. it was in "assigning driver" status. I called customer service. They told me that there is no reservations under my name and offered to make a new reservation. When I asked how do I know that driver will show up now (if I have already reserved a cab 2 hours ago unsuccessfully)? She mentioned that I have made my reservation only 1 hour and 40 minutes ago?! When I mentioned that she just told me I did not make any reserv

Nice and simple, works well. A little rough around the edges and it could use more features and a more recent map of Boston. I look forward to the development of this usefull app!

Called for a pick up. 45 min later, call again to see if they forgot. Dispatch was rude and said I would get a cab as soon as one was available, but couldn't give me an estimated time as to when a driver would be available. Waited another 30 min, still no cab. Called again and was hung up on. This seems to be how they operate. I've tried them numerous times, always the same outcome. Don't bother to call them. They'll never show up.

No one ever came. I waived down a cab that was driving by.

Ordered a can 4 hours in advance and it was never dispatched. Decided to give it another try and the cab showed up early and left stating I was a no show. When I called dispatch I was told that they don't guarantee service during rush hour. The company itself is fine, but they need to fix the app if they can't guarantee during certain hours.

Invalid Adress

Now don't get me wrong the so will work at best okay and usually I just call and I haven't had many problems with the company but today I called an hour before my shift to get a cab and ended up being late for work because it didn't show up for 50 minutes and it takes 30 minutes to drive to my job. So thanks for that Boston cab you got me almost fired today even when I did call and check up using the app.

Poor app... not working

Cab was 30 minutes late picking me up, and I missed a flight home. As an out of state student I am...beyond furious.

this app has poor usability, the interface needs a serious facelift, it's slow and times out even with full signal strength. Not worth wasting your time with.

Won't even send me a confirmation email to log in. How am I supposed to use the app when I am required to log in and I can't

Cab doesn't always arrive on time, which caused me (in my case) to call the dispatcher who was very rude. Ended up cancelling pick up order and hail a cab the normal way by hand. I don't recommend people to use this app

Poor app... not working

Worked really well the first time, second time couldn't get it to detect my location.

I have tried to get a cab using this app and i wait and wait and wait and after a while ill check and it says request cancelled. Also when I called the man who picked up and spoke talked to me in a rude manner. This has happened more than once. Will never use again !

Seems like nice features, but barely worked 1 out of 4 tries. On the first try, our can was assigned. While we waited, out status changed to "no show," meaning we weren't there to pick it up. We never even saw a cab! On the next 3 tries, a cab was never assigned. The app looks great in theory, but save your time and make a call.

This app has been wonderful for when I have ordered cabs in the morning but is completely useless after 8 pm. At night you are better off walking to the nearest major street and hailing one instead.

I can't get it to respond often and when I do it flags every address as invalid.
