To begin using the Blueline Taxi application today:
• Download the free app
• Create an account (Email, Name, Phone # and Password)
• Validate your account (via the confirmation email you receive)
• Login to the app (Email & Password)
• Enter your pickup address
• Enter your destination address (this allows us to provide an estimated trip amount)
• Book your trip (reservations can be immediate or for a future time/date)
On booking a reservation, you will immediately receive a confirmation number, along with an update when your vehicle has been assigned. From here you can monitor the progress of your vehicle as it moves towards your pickup location.
The Blueline Taxi application retains a history of your previous reservations (up to 30 days) for expense management and to quickly rebook the same trip with the push of a button. You may also create a list of favorite locations (Home, Work, etc.) to speed the booking process.
You can also customize your orders by selecting the number of passengers, preferred vehicle type, and preferred method of payment. These preferences can be saved to your account profile for future bookings.

Ubers biggest advantage is money is taken care of automatically and the app tracks your cars position. No charge machine, tips, other bs. Just picked up, drive and drop off. This app lets you order a taxi and thats it.

You need to pay the driver either by cash or card. Which is time consuming. I suggest lowering the taxi rates to match uber. And used similar method of payment option. Also tracking for taxi once accepted the ride

Can't pay through the app (how is this feature still missing? I saw an article from almost a year ago claiming that this would be possible "soon"). Cars are still assigned based on the stupid cab priority system instead of proximity which means that some cab that's across town gets assigned to pick me up instead of the one that's driving 5 minutes away from me. No driver rating system? The icons indicating cars and locations are too large and cartoony, makes the app look non-professional.

First it is good app and does the job. One problem is that once the cab is assigned to my order, I don't see it on the map so I can't see th progress or how far it is. With regard to fake reviews, I suggest not to use this method. It is against the Google development guidelines and your app will be banned and will be very hard to instantiate back(i am an android developer as you can tell)

All you can basically do is order a taxi. Cant specify if you need a van and you can't pay by the app, which is the main draw back, since a taxis machine is always "broken"

Have to reboot. Phone becomes unresponsive. N5, Kit Kat. Update: new version, N5, Lollipop. App Crashes on login. My phone keeps working without a reboot, which is a bonus. Fake reviews are irritating and I'll stick to Uber as well. Coventry Connections: please get your app and taxi service up to snuff so you can win in the marketplace on your merits.

Reviews appear fake/paid for. Checking some profiles of reviewers show many have rated the same apps (all at 5 stars) and they do not appear to be from the Ottawa area. Although the app works well I do not trust a company that manufacturers reviews. Adding the option to pay through the app would bring taxis to modern times. I will stick to Uber whenever possible.
