Set the start time for the regatta. Add your and your competitor's boat name and rating(handicap). Push a button when each boat finish, or enter the finish time.
View the Scoreboard on your phone.
Email the results to your computer and open them in Excel. (only in full version)
This sailing timer is great for keeping track off your competitors in your local Beer Can Race or for more serious sailing yacht races.
Supported handicap systems:
LYS/IRC - elapsed-time * rating
KLR - elapsed-time * rating / 100
RYA PORTSMOUTH YARDSTICK (beta) - elapsed-time / rating * 1000

Simple and clean. Can you please add a possibility to track multi-day races? Looks like there is no date stamp, only time of day stamp for the start. Would need this in a week from now. Also ability to keep score at multiple checkpoints along the way would be great.

The PYA rating worked correctly. Unfortunately the corrected time has a bug which means the app is of no use.... a smaller rating means a faster boat. Your version applies the corrected times in the wrong direction.

This app seems to be only one of two (and by far the better) that does automatic corrected race time calculations. It seems polished and has useful features. However, I am in the UK, and we use RYA 'ratings', called 'Portsmouth Numbers' (the Portsmouth Yardstick). Please please please make a version of this app that works on this system - you'll be the first for Android as far as I can tell! (Lots for iPhone already!)
