The Denver Post for Android
I was not able to change the notification sound from the one I use for text messages. It just got annoying because it was always chirping.
pos app was continuously crashing when launched. Updated app & still crashes at launch. Didn't expect much from Denver post, yet still they manage to disappoint
I have to restart in a list of articles after reading one to find my place again. The reader loses track of what is next to finish reading the paper.
Lame, doesn't scale or rotate, not even in portrait mode
Can you really not turn off notifications? Have to delete if so.
Notifications are bothersome. Bye.
Hate it. Editors don't know what I am interested in. I love the print edition. I would suggest putting the print edition on line. (No puzzles or comics on this edition.)
Difficult to read in grey, small font and white background. Cannot sign in as a subscriber.
This app sucks. Every day I have to reload everything. It is cumbersome at best. Now I can't even get the replica edition.....
Can't opt out of news alerts.
This app like many others thinks it owns my mobile device, no way to disable push alerts. For that reason alone it sucks, I will do what I do to any app that forces alerts, uninstall. I don't need the post to decide what needs to be pushed to me. Give the user control
I can't read news stories in the app (like I can with every other news app I use). They only open in browser, so that's two, two, two apps being used for one! Also, very little in the way of settings you can customize (ie, no way to turn off certain notifications that I have no interest in). Luckily, there's a "Rate this app" button in the settings, though, so that's useful?
can't disable annoying alerts. uninstalled app
No font size adjustment, font too small for boomers!
I feel like the only thing the app has now is sports. Some of us actually want to read real news.
Cannot disable alert chimes!
Constant bugs. Missing entire sections (sports and business) today
Had to delete. Kept getting notifications and could not turn off.
Too much sports on app more news please
Short on actual local news. Too much sports coverage.
Where are the outdoor news stories
Good news source.
Slow. Slow. Slow.
I'm amazed that the app takes 2.2 gigs of space! Thats ridiculous.
New version difficult to navigate and do not like the portrait view at all.
Almost all of the features of the previous version are gone. It's pretty much useless now.
Would not let me disable alerts
It's hard to read the articles with their light grey font and unchangeable font size. The designers would do well to study the design of the New York Times or The Economist apps for good legibility and navigation. App has no settings options at all.
The old version locked up, used too much memory an was very slow. The new version, while it does seem faster doesn't rotate, is missing a number of sections (international, national, politics,...) and is not conducive to reading several articles in a row.
Too much memory usage. No landscape capability like 90% of the apps. No way to change color and size of fonts. No options to set. A little faster but lost a lot of features.
The app will no longer rotate so can be viewed on a tablet sitting in landscape mode. Very frustrating.
The top story is consistently a back of the paper item...sports or travel. I want national or local stories...those sections missing here. Many pieces not loaded when in print. Format is great. Content needs a boost.
The app only comes up in portrait ?? I can't get it in landscape. I have Google pixel tablet.
I pay for a subscription, why can't I log in and not get annoying pop-up ads?
Subtopics & a search feature would be helpful
Used to find weekly adds in older version, when tab auto update this new version came and now no adds
It's too slow at startup.
Once again forcing notifications
Why did you change the layout? This sucks now

You know you can do better! Man this app sucks. It doesn't scale for tablets. This is NOT iOS, it's Android. You know Android 87% of all mobile users? Learn the API! And make it scale correctly across all platforms.
