NHK Easy Japanese News Unlock

Switching to a subscription service makes this app worthless and is a slap in the face to buyers of this unlocker. Normally this would constitute a breach of contract with the option for a refund, since the terms of the app have changed *after* purchase. I won't buy anything from Aovill anymore until they have changed this policy. You have plenty of competion that won't sit still...

Appalling... The recent update makes this app completely redundant. I used to be able to use offline mode but now I must subscribe for this feature despite having previously paid! How unfair.

Disappointing. For AUD$7 you get no ads, option to hide Furigana, and "offline mode". I put "offline mode" in quotes because it's pretty terrible and the reason for my low rating. Offline Mode requires you to manually download each individual article you'll want to read when you go offline. So if you didn't download any articles before entering offline mode, you won't be able to make use of it. I think it would be nice if the app could automatically downloaded the latest news with some options added in settings to control how it does: - Download articles: Never, Wifi only, Wifi and cellular network - Articles to keep in memory: All, 5 newest, 10 newest, 15 newest, etc.

Good app but it's annoying that it has to reload the story, losing my place, every time I turn my phone or switch to another app like my dictionary. Definitely worth the price though.

Because of the move to subscription service this app will stop working soon. Don't buy.

Doesn't give ability to look up underlined kanji words. Should link or allow linking to at least Google translate in settings.

Why is this not possible? Sometimes I want to read an article later after I practiced the vocabulary. (I mean how do I collect the articles? There seems to be no place where all articles I downloaded show up. It seems that after some time all articles disappear, when they are too outdated)

Good for learning. Spokesman speak show and clearly. But offline mode has BUG, on 24 AUG 2016 after your new update. I CAN NOT OPERATE / OPEN YOUR APPS.

Is it possible to combine the unlocking app with the origianl app in the future? I don't want to see two apps in my app drawer.

A pretty good app but the offline mode doesn't work. I always get a download error message when I press the download arrow. When I turn on the offline mode in the settings, the news articles fail to load.

I use this app while walking or doing something else so i will very happy if the app can play on the background, even when i turn the screen off

When i download the content of article, there is .mp3 extension being downloaded, is it ok? But then I cannot see anything offline. In addition I have a white screen which looks like the effect of software suspension.

I checked on "Enable Offline Mode", but I still can not read the news without internet. I thought that I paid to enable that feature.

Could you move option show/hide furigana to reading screen, it make switch faster. Overall, this app good for learning Japanese.

I buy the purchase version because I think it will have no ad. But it's bad. Ad's still there. And I don't know what I paid for. So bad.

I confront the same issue as well. EVEN I enabled the offline setting. The articles still can't view offline.
