No connection needed, no other stuff. nice themes that are easy on the eyes. Great editor for those of us that know how to code. And regarding the children that are upset about the ads, welcome to the real world. They have to make their money somehow. And they really do not block much of the screen at all.

went on old machine and attempted to edit. so much going on with extream lag that stuff was deleteing that i did not see. extreamly badly written. on tab3lite this is a bad program even with small bits of code. being the best editor on googe play is still. lol. still bad. had to install my on no frills editor. i think btw your problem is your brackets matching routine... but with a mere 35 years programming what do i know, right?

Good app but its unnecesarily slow within the same file. If I scroll down, the feedback is slow, and text shows up white, only gets syntax highlighted after the scroll stops. If I scroll back up, same thing happens even if previous text was already syntaxed. Fix this unnecesary lag. No lag without syn. hightlighting. Thanks and good luck.

Now the ads show up even when offline. You should have added this on your update. Now im downgrading to a lower version. Good thing aptoide supports this. Some funny guy below telling us to shut up. Try updating this first and see for yourself

Horrible! I just lost all my progress I did. I was so close on finishing bit I wanted to save. So I clicked on the save button but it failed. Two more times it said the same thing until it asked me to reload the saving or not. I hit reload and everything I worked on was gone. This is an outrage !

Is kind of slow scrolling up and down but other than that it seems to be a kickbutt app. It does need some work on responsiveness , coding is kind of difficult do to lagginess and yes i have a brand new phone. A fast one. Ty for the app though, for free its awesome!!!

A good app for practice. Here are its main pros and cons. PROS: - works offline - syntax highlight for many different languages CONS: - syntax highlight colors are too similar (even if you change them in your settings) - for some reason when you save a file and send it to a computer everything you wrote appears to be in the same line. This is a huge problem expecially when you use comments for a whole line. This issue does not happen with every text editor but it is quite common.

In general liked it but can't believe how bad search/replace is. It takes up mode of the screen with no options to reduce space used, virtually unusable. The search issue means I'm still looking for an alternative "QuickEdit Text Editor" doing it much better I will probably go with that.

Everyone complaining about ads, just shut up. If the ad banner is to big just turn the wifi off. That should keep the ads from popping up.

Hey developers don't make your own product useless.

Used this because it edits psc. Would pay if it worked well. Screen rotation changes the position you were viewing in code file (restarts at top). White space indentation for blocks is atrocious. Tap placement to line position is awful. Ad takes up too much of screen with qwerty up. Poor design.

I'm NOT recommending this app to friends and colleagues. The ads at the bottom of the screen is too big. Uninstalling.

I tried using this to edit my hosts file. After saving the file it ends up being 2 KB but there's only a few lines. It made my hosts file unusable by Android. Once I used another editor the file became 82 bytes. Quite a difference. I will no longer use this app.

Editor good, but when I open editor then "pro editor" always fix right corner. that's very bad.

The inability to save to the SD card renders it pretty much useless. There are better editors out there that too can't write to SD...

Worked good until my project got bigger - one file has > 500 lines and now editing that file is so slow that I'm looking for a replacement.

performance seems to get worse since the new update when opening larger code files, it gets terribly laggy unlike the last version

Very great mobile coding editor. No compilers, but that's to be expected from a mobile editor. Very useful and practical. Though the ad for the pro version gets annoying

An autocomplete would be awesome. It's too tiring to type down every single function of php.

very useless free version app you can't almost do anything with it each menu or tool you use pops-up the upgrade paid version, I bet this was only made just to be like a demo version to advertise the paid version.. I don't recommend anyone to install this app it's useless I bet.Dont waste your time guys plus it has a big annoying Ads.

I understand ads are necessary but the ad placement is absolutely ridiculous. It block the text at the bottom and there is no way of reading the text at the end.

Very nice but does not auto capitalize first letter of sentences. That may be OK with coders but is a deal breaker for document editing. Were it able to offer auto cap for first sentence letter it would be about perfect: It is tantalizing to see the potential to work on multiple text documents simultaneously but not be able to use it.

Lots of features, most of which I don't actually need or want. Simple text editor with a .99 price would be worth it. $2.50 is too much for my use. Maybe use IAP for different levels?

Seems like Advertising has been an afterthought, rather than being properly thought out into the design of this app. Better apps out there for programmers who need a text editor with syntax highlighting. Uninstalling.

It's a great app but black background is making me feel that using it is boring.

You can not read the instructions because of the add for the paid version. I want you advertise for a better program, but do it better. I'm being generous with my rating.

Advertisement for pro version is hiding the bottom code and it becomes impossible to reach the bottom.
