About Email - Organized by Alto

Control. It’s not just for Janet Jackson anymore.

Alto hands you back the reigns to your inbox. Want to see all your file attachments, flight schedules or photos organized and in one place? No problem, Alto does it automatically for you. Want real-time alerts about package deliveries or flight changes? Rest easy. Alto’s got you covered.

Download Alto for free and say goodbye to digging through tons of email for that one message. No more losing track of order confirmations or flight updates. No more excuses for being late when you can call for a Lyft ride or Uber from right inside the app!

All Your Email Accounts, Together at Last
Alto keeps all your email accounts in one place—Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo!, iCloud, Hotmail, AOL Mail and even your corporate accounts. We support Microsoft Exchange and any account that uses IMAP.

Real-time Travel and Shopping Alerts
Whether you have a last-minute gate change or an important delivery gets delayed, Alto brings you alerts in a simple, easy-to-use format. View your latest orders and track your packages with the tap of a finger.

Dashboard’s Got You Covered
Alto's Dashboard gives you a view of the most relevant and timely information in your inbox. Get helpful Cards for events, flight updates, order confirmations, shipments, hotel reservations and more. Find rental car locations and directions to the hotel, or book dinner reservations and a Lyft ride all without opening a single email!

One Calendar to Rule them All
Say adios to your other Calendar apps! We've expanded Alto's Dashboard to include a Calendar that pulls all your meetings and appointments into one, easy-to-use view. Accept invites from your inbox or Dashboard, create and manage events from your work and personal calendars all from within Alto.

Your Emails, Organized
Alto automatically sorts and categorizes your email into Stacks, giving you one-click access to Unread, Starred or Snoozed messages, as well as Photos, File Attachments, Shopping, Travel, Finance, Social and more. You can even create custom stacks for people like your boss, parent or significant other.

Connect with Alexa and Slack
We love making new friends like Alexa and Slack, two of our tech favorites. We now have seamless integration with both of them. Ask Alexa (the Amazon Echo voice assistant) when your flight departs or your package arrives and Alto finds the answer for you. When you’re on Slack, you can access almost anything attached to your emails -- photos, files, and more -- and add it to your conversation without ever leaving Slack. All without opening a single email!

Hit the Snooze Button
Don’t feel like answering that email from your boss right now? Let Alto be your alarm clock and "snooze" any messages you want to put off until later. Customize your snooze time and respond when it’s most convenient.

Make Your Life a Little Easier
By customizing message swipe actions like - archiving, snoozing, deleting, and more - you can get a handle on that backlog of email in no time at all.

Your Security Matters
Alto's IMAP connection uses Secure Sockets Layer encryption (SSL) and performs authentication over a secure channel. Passwords are heavily encrypted. In other words, we help secure all your emails accessed through Alto.

Just when I thought I'd found an exchange email app that did it all. It won't sync all my exchange folders so loads are missing. Hoping this is a setting issue although looked everywhere. Otherwise would be 5*

Y70%
by Y####:

After reinstalling this app, I cannot sign in to any of my accounts. I just get redirected to an error page if I try.

W70%
by W####:

Not ready for prime time. Couldn't add either of my gmail accounts. Didn't even get to my Hotmail accounts. Uninstalled. Update: author contacted me said they'd try to fix it, so I gave it another shot. But 3 weeks later, still can't use with Gmail. Uninstalled again. On Pixel XL phone.

S70%
by S####:

This is by far one of the best mailing apps I have every used. If only I can get it on my MacBook I would be so happy.

Y70%
by Y####:

Only one issue I got is there is no Office365 account option, you have to add it manually. Thanks!

Y70%
by Y####:

I wish this app has a regret timeframe. For example a short delay before actually sending out a mail.

I70%
by I####:

I live this app and really want to give it 5 stars, however, I have been having a problem where I will get notifications for emails I've received but when I try to open the emails, they disappear.

O70%
by O####:

Want to love this app but it limits to 10 email addresses and I have 15 email addresses between work, business, school, and personal. Unfortunately, I will have to ditch the app until it is updated (if ever) to allow more email addresses.

F70%
by F####:

Awesome email app, makes life super easy now that Xtra accounts aren't merged with Yahoo, this app does it all, even tells me of gate changes for flights, which is super handy!

Y70%
by Y####:

This app works well, but the settings are a little confusing.

C70%
by C####:

Working well. Slightly slow in response but good experience overall.

Y70%
by Y####:

Very good little client. Slick in operations and love the Stack concept. Highly recommended by me as a client with a refreshingly different approach with the interface.

Y70%
by Y####:

Clean, support multiple emails. Notifications is Nougat compliance. Go ahead and try, it worth your time.

K70%
by K####:

It's a very nice and important one for one to use. It gets all your mail in one piece irrespective of the provider. Eg yahoo, Google, outlook, live yandex etc. It's very awesome.

Q70%
by Q####:

Perfect app after try so many app finaly got the perfect creation

Y70%
by Y####:

Looks like a nice app with tons of unique features but the widget won't let you filter only unread mail.

J70%
by J####:

I love it. So easy to view all my email accounts at the same time.

Y70%
by Y####:

Brilliant app. This is the best email app period. You can add as many email accounts as you like. The interface is fluid and responsive

P70%
by P####:

The app is okay, it works fine and I like it. It is not the most customizable you can find. In particular, I would like to be able to set how often the mails refresh in the background (different frequencies for different email accounts), add more 'quick' buttons when viewing mails (and not just the 'delete' button), and having buttons on the bottom part of the screen, so that I can reach everything with my thumb. The design is great though.

Y70%
by Y####:

Had an issue removing an account but developer replied right away to my post. Thanks for getting back to me, it took a while to find the Remove Account. Maybe you can put all settings on one side bar, no hidden settings that we can easily navigate, be adept with the app and make changes. Definitely will be using the app again.

A70%
by A####:

Having my first issue with the app after the entire length of using it: notifications are not delivering subject line or sender when collapsed and it is quite annoying to not have that information without having to expand the notification and even then it is snot conveyed. The body of the mail is displayed so I have to try and guess if it is not signed. It there a way to fix this?

Y70%
by Y####:

Really good mail app, the only issue I have is opening an email from a notification switches alto from all accounts to the account in the notification. Also, I would be nice if it supported encryption. EDIT: the main issue of opening from notifications is now fixed so I've bumped it up to 5 stars. Encryption would be nice however no other mail app has this really so I won't penalise you for it.

S70%
by S####:

Please add a "select all" button. It is frustrating having to check each email individually. Edited to specify - when searching a specific word for instance "google" you can not select all of the emails within that search to delete them easily. Please add a select all button for this.

Y70%
by Y####:

It works good now that they have included the option of having different login for smtp. However the notifications are a bit confusing since they don't clearly include subjects if you have multiple mails waiting.

Y70%
by Y####:

When sending emails it appears to be a toss up whether the email is sent or not. I believe there is an issue if you exit the app before you have notification that the email is sent. This means should you fire off a quick response to someone and then exit and put the phone away like most mobile emails there is a decent chance the email will not be sent. Unfortunately as a core and basic need for emails to be sent from an email app I would say it is dangerous to use this app for anything other than light social use.

S70%
by S####:

Calendar issue strikes back :( Unfortunately, had to delete the app. Help desk didn't even bother to help me nor they replied my message.

Y70%
by Y####:

Really good app to configure multiple emails. Works with a lot of different types of emails. Though would love to see rendering of Html emails sent to my exchange account (having tables etc.) a bit better.

I70%
by I####:

It gives me how many emails I have help me to keep with them and show all images. Phone is Note 5 It has to be a glitch in this app because it gives me a number of false emails. This app is defective, I like the app but now I need to find an app similar like this if the problem is not fixed.

Y70%
by Y####:

Looks nice so far. I like your logo, it appeals to me. Doesn't support split screen function though. The windows are skewed somehow. Please fix?

Y70%
by Y####:

Is there a word for worse than worse?? Damn thing has been adding an account for the longest time, I feel that evolution will occur before it's ready

Y70%
by Y####:

Wow! Excellent open feel! Alto wins with simplicity over BlueMail/TypeApp, as the only non-Google non-Microsoft apps that are sane enough to handle 3 web-email accounts: Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo. All the others cost, and if theyre free theres an account that won't login. 5 and 15 minute PIN timeout. Option to confirm before sending or deleting.

Y70%
by Y####:

Great and easy to use. I have a number of email addresses and this way I can manage them all in the same place. Makes me much more on top of my emails now

F70%
by F####:

Faster notifications and more privacy needed. Sometimes there is a huge time gap between receiving an email and the appearance of the notification with IMAP accounts, Gmail sync is better with immediate notifications. Adguard and other privacy related apps report hundreds of 'ads' while using the app - probably usage statistics but an opt out option would be appreciated like on Aqua mail even for a small fee for privacy concerned people.

Y70%
by Y####:

Surprised how well it's works and how nice the interface is. My fios accounts email was stitched to aol and the app was recommended. I was sceptical but have it a shot. Glad I did.

K70%
by K####:

Great email app with many features but the missed "select all" function. I don't want to select 1 by 1 email to delete them all. But you find it in iPhone. Otherwise it's no doubt it's one of the best email app.

Y70%
by Y####:

Alto offers key integration and useability features not common in Droid email apps. Creating calendar events from emails and managing multiple accounts is actually easy. A very nice interface, and, dare I say, pleasant to use...

C70%
by C####:

This app has lots of promise but it’s glitchy and too often has issues. One of my accounts hasn’t updated for 6 months no matter what I do to fix it. I’ve contacted alto several times to ask for help without any answer.

Y70%
by Y####:

So far I like it - I haven't tried using it's stack features. Also, it's swipe is kinda dodgy, but not too bad.

Y70%
by Y####:

It tells me I don't have a browser installed although I'm using Chrome on my phone. Too bad.

Y70%
by Y####:

Alto has been a great replacement for Cloud Magic, now Newton Mail. I have been using it for about a 6 months now, and am very satisfied with the improvements that have been made over the past few months.
