Grocery List for Android
Grocery list was created by Any.do, the world's #1 to-do list app with over 15 million users worldwide.
With Grocery list you can:
* Simply organize your shopping and groceries list
* Easily share your list with family and friends
* Keep it in sync with your Any.do and use it to add items from any device
* Never run out of milk :)

I love any. Do and when I saw that you guys did a grocery app I was hyped about it. It works ok for me but I need to share the list and to sync it. From some time ago we don't get the same items in the shared list, it is like we both have different versions of the list.
A good and simple app, but there are a couple of important features missing, like being able to add a note to a product or adding a unit (weight, size etc). I really like the real time update when others add things to a shared list.
I think list apps should be simple and effective quick to use, as is Grocery List. Unfortunately, if you've installed the developer's more popular Any.Do app, you're in trouble. This app "automatically" syncs with Any.Do whether you like it or not. Very annoying to see my grocery and purchase lists in my task app along with all my business related projects, etc. Furthermore, I can't even leave that main list unpopulated because it's the only shareable one! Share capabilities are needed for ALL categories!
Please don't allow lists to expand when dragging items. Takes ages to reassign items with lists continuing to expand when you pass them.
Very nice design. There are two toggles I'd like to see at the top of the app: collapse/expand all categories, hide/show crossed off items (I often recycle frequent items and it's a hassle to bring them back when cleared).
I love that I can add items simply by typing in the top bar. I highly dislike the plus sign adding
But needs some work. Sharing is extremely convoluted. I'm not sure it even works right. If it does, I sure as hell haven't figured it out, and I'm pretty patient. If it takes that much work, it's not ready. I hope the devs can clean it up. I would definitely use it.
I'm using this to keep tabs on what's on my fridge, freezer, and pantry. Got tired of family members buying stuff just because they saw it at walmart, not knowing if we had that particular item already, and the overstock that resulted in. Now we all know what's in the kitchen, and before any of us buys anything we check this list first to see if we already have it! GREAT.
Good interface, simple. Consider the possibility of the possibility of several lists. Also possibility of importing the list.
Make & send shopping list . It's a good app for making & sending shopping list via Text
I'm not using because it places grocery items onto my to do list and vice versa. The grocery list needs to untied from the to do list.
I like the interface and simplicity. Really needs to be able to scan bar codes to be of use for me.
How do you detach it with Any Do To Do List ? I can't figure out how to stop it from syncing with my any do, since the reason I downloaded it in the first place is for my grocery list to not merge with my daily tasks. I've tried deleting the grocery list in any do, but it keeps on coming back because of the sync feature. I've also tried reinstalling it to no avail.
I love being able to have my grocery list on my phone and being able to share it. I would give it five stars if I could have more than one list since I also shop for my grandma.
Simply easy to use, allows me to delete finished items, not just cross them off the list,
The any.do design is always alwesome. However, this grocery list app lags behind many others out there. We can't add some specs to the items (volume? Weight? Amount? Brand?). Also, it'd be a great idea to have the icons for each item to buy instead of a text-only list. And maybe have an option to automatically categorize the items to buy (dairy products, drinks, hygiene and so on). Could be much better with the potential of anydo brilliant team!
Hated because it didn't work. Didn't synch with others and that's kinda the point no?
Doesn't sync lists between users correctly, no quantities, categories which you would use for ordering by aisles (ie. produce, deli, frozen) shifts around alphabetically for other user which isn't helpful for shopping by store layout. There are better grocery apps out there right now. I'm disappointed.
Everything is laid out very intuitively. All the functionality you need is there. Highly recommended.
Very nice app to have when more than one person does the shopping
The only thing I use to organize my grocery shopping. I love this app, keep up the good work!
All categories emptied after sharing and syncing list. 1 star and uninstalled. Suggestions from previous review: (1) Desktop/Web does not support grocery categories (2) Allow expand/collapse all categories in menu (3) Provide option not to rearrange items when completed (4) Don't move category to the top after it's renamed, this doesn't make sense
As an Any.do user, I was expecting this app to have powerful sharing functionality across multiple popular applications. But this app doesn't do this, all it does is sync on the Any.do server.
I like the simple interface, but the swipe gesture feels awkward and slow. Why can't I just tap something to cross it off? Also, the vibration from each long press is harsh - I would tone that down.
It's like a mini organizer.
I looked for such sharing list app...thanks
Please, separate it from any do. I use "any do" for planning, not to include my groceries list in that. List of products in any do distracts. Also, would be very nice if developers would include measures such as "kg","units" etc. in the next version
Erases my list every time I close it. Whatever !
And I would like to...
Love it. It does everything I want it to do
Easy to share with my husband so we can finally stop forgetting what we need from the store. Love it!
This app is great helps me stay very organized.
I love that the user experience is so similar to Any.Do, which I used quite frequently. I wish that Grocery List had a widget like Any.Do does, and when that is added I would give this app 5 stars.
It don't log me in to facebook or google!
I don't want it to sync with any.do task manager...
I dont see any widgets available...
Why i miss my editing progress when i rotate the screen!?
So what I'd trick to delete an item? Also why isnt it self explanitory?
Waiting for the iOS version too. Thanks!

Server went down and took all my lists with it. Replies from tech were flippant, but of course included the "if you buy it it will be better" stuff. Sorry, if it doesn't work correctly when it's free, why would I pay for it?
