This app is so frustrating. I want it to work, but most of the time it doesnt. I have been through numerous code and hardware upgrades, but it will periodically just stop working. I wish there was another app that supported the unlock function on my door phone. There are numerous reliable apps that do all other functions of this one.

no support...poor performance

Works great for me. As with all connected hardware update, update, update firmware before posting to forums and leaving bad reviews. This is not a Plug and Play device and requires a certain level of knowledge IP and iot devices.-1 star because the app doesn't meet core app quality for Android

Unfortunately too rough, too buggy and very limited functionality. Needs a LOT of work.

it works great for me! it may not be as good of a design as apples but it does its job and for the price you cant ask more! thank you!

Can't even get it to connect to my network, and yes I made sure everything was up to date. Waste of money.

Not necessary to push for talk the option was there already. Update version no longer hand free. And answer get you to device off line. Also if phone got locked screen than after answer the app is hidden. One Button press to unlock door on app is necessary. Password to open in app is not necessary. Please respond.phone Speaker must deployed on door answer.

The SW is buggy and there are language errors. Not so intuitive, but overall the app is doing the job. The most important improvement that this app needs is to allow alphanoneric password in the account settings. Right now, only 4 digits are allowed. This problem does not exist in iOS. Please keep working on bug fixes.

Does not ring the app in new Sammy Note 7, even with successful installation of device

After recent Marshmellow updates, S7 battery drain us excessive.

Sometimes works, assuming you have the time to wait for the app to connect to the cloud servers at Rongtel (the company that makes these devices). Sometimes it just doesn't work at all, sometimes it kinda does and it's a huge bandwidth hog when it does. Better wait until something more sophisticated comes along, this is amateur crapp.

This product worked great until this last upgrade (02/22). Since then the button will not sound at any devices. Tried reboot and full factory default, didn't work.

This is the most buggy application I have ever used. Seems like no one has tested it before releasing it. Many options are not working, wording and typo issues. Better for this app (and for the developer) to test it again and at least change the typos....

Manage to use the app well in a local network, haven't tried outside. There's a bug in the Android app that doesn't let me use the alphanumeric password which I setup on the device configuration webpage, only lets me input 4 digits. iOS app doesn't seem to have this problem.

I have had it on my desk to test for about 1 month. Sometimes it works first try sometimes I have to press the call button 10 times. If I reject a call I have to reset my phone. It blacks out the screen and will only work with a hard reset. Please fix these issues so I can have a functional device. On paper it does exactly what I need, in reality it just causes frustration.

Piece of crap. Unable to sync with wifi unable to develop communication with intercom which makes the unit worthless. Buy the unit you just blew your money.

It works most of these time when someone rings. You can't set motion detection from the app, settings are unclear, password is limited to 4 digit number.

Absolute waste of space

Like other reviews, the call-in button doesn't work... I had Amazon replace the door cam, thinking it was a hardware issue. Both times, upon initial setup, I was able to call-in ONCE. After this, the call-in no longer work - although I can, at any time, use the app to see and talk to the person at the gate. Since I can connect, there is no network issue. Since I can use the app to talk/view via cam/mic/speaker, there's no apparent hardware issue. When pressing the call-in button, the chime rings.. so the button is working. Help! I really like the hardware and what the product is offering. I'm hoping its a software fix to get the doorbell working again!!!

Call in feature doesn't work properly. Don't get calls when the button is deliberately pressed,but sometimes goes off when the button wasn't pressed. Useless.

Abnormal ccommunication issue cant work outdoor call-in......

Not receiving ring alerts on any mobile connected when bell on Controlcam is pressed, even Outdoor call-in is ON. Any suggestion?

I have the latest Android Lollipop on my LG G3. It flashes a black screen then tells me 'Controlcam has stopped working' forcing me to close it.

Do not like push to talk function, why was this changed? It worked fine before and could be used hands free
