Might be an issue with Android 7, I am on Nexus 5x

When I put in the information to access files shared via SMB, it just crashes ("Uh oh, a weird thing just happened.") The funny thing is that I can access the SMB share fine from Windows, but all of the Android apps seem to be incapable of doing so.

Old ver has popup ad issue, but new ver works great, have used for 2yrs now. $$$ Money Well Spent.

Discovers remote NAS drive but won't connect to it. Other SMB apps do.

ES Explorer finds my SMB just fine but Anttek doesn't.. ? A pity because I really like the explorer.

How cool, I can use my tablet to watch videos or listen to music stored on my desktop PC, without having to download or transfer files. This worked beautifully, with no trouble, right out of the box. It's too bad there's an upper limit on the size of a file to be streamed, but then I can't complain, it's free and all. Nicely done.

I need to open files from shared network

Windows shares accessible through estrong and astro return invalid user or bad password every time. Wanted to like this because it seems to have the best layout for tablets ...but it's useless to me without working smb.

Unlike Ghost Commander, this will not connect to a Windows share if the user name contains spaces. This needs to be fixed in order to be of any use.

Without a browse function this is not very useful. Archos FileManager does a much better job but only works on Archos devices. Oh for an equivalent.

I really like the double pane app - which I rate 5* - but I am unable to access my Windows folder from either my phone or my tablet. File Expert and ES file manager can both access the same shared drive

Ran into a pretty nasty bug. Contacted the developers and the update with the fix came out the same day. Talk about support! The app+plugin is great, should be included on all android devices!

This is the only app I have found on the market that supports SMB video streaming, and it does a great job of it

Working great on ICS on WiFi Galaxy Tab. This is a worthwhile addon if you're looking to browse pictures on a network file store AND you want to see thumbnails, not just file names.

It doesn't work. I get some login error. Please fix.

Once I realised I needed Anteks File explorer to use this PLUGIN all is now good!

Upon extensive testing, I can definitely (and obviously) say that it works. Still got plenty of room for improvement like adding the ability to stream without the help of other external apps. Slight speed improvement as well if possible (better buffering?) Other than that it works perfectly for basic accessing of files and the usual stuff (copy/cut+paste). I was able to transfer 5gigs of various files without problem.

This is the first app that I've fond that works properly with smb on android.

Slow, video streaming doesn't work, even with smallest of files. Other than that, it's the best file explorer for Android I've ever seen. But the broken streaming is a deal-breaker.

Not explained. Says it installed but I cannot see how to run this app. Tried browsing to an existing smb share and thought I may be prompted to stream when I selected the file. But nothing. Will keep searching for an app coz this is not the answer to what I need.

Don't know what the people giving 1* are doing, as this works great. 1. Share folders on PC. 2. Scan Network. 3. Edit connection and enter credentials. 4. Connect and enjoy. The plugin works fine, don't blame the app for your lack of networking knowledge.
