It doesn't work. Ads - songs from Spotify are still being played

I was hoping this would allow me to skip explicit content but unfortunately not. Hopefully the developer will add this in as it's a big issue with Spotify at the moment, especially when playing the charts with kids around.

This app is magical!! As soon as it downloaded it allowed me to skip the annoying songs I didn't want to hear! Love you man!! Keep up the amazing work????????????????????????

I don't understand what there is to misunderstand about this app.If you want Spotify to always skip certain artists, this app does it. No more Beyonce or her even worse little sister. Yay!

Nice but my radio keeps repeating instead of generating new songs, i would pay €5 for the option to dislike songs in the blacklist automatically (thumbs down in radio), also an option that blacklists the song if you already ever listened to a song (+ auto dislike it so spotify won't try to keep it in the radio), i want to use spotify to only listen to music i never listened. By disliking all songs in a radio I force spotify to find new music for me, but it's very tedious. Blacklisting all artists just keeps repeating a radio in a loop.. this really needs more automation. Very tedious work to add all songs.

I put in an artist to skip and it still plays songs from that artist.

Dear Skipify, First of all, i have no idea how this app works... Seriously, I cant figure it out! And lastly, why do you need Spotify for this app to work?! It just takes up your storige!! To all people who rate 0 points, it's not fake, it's not scam, works like it says. First rules applied %Bieber% and that annoying %Despacito%!

Truly an amazing app but will only skip single artist songs so a Justin Bieber song will be skipped but not one with multiple artists like Despacito etc as the app only picks up the first artist and if it's not Justin Bieber it won't skip.. Even with wildcards.. Shame really otherwise works fine

Well to all the brainless ppl in the ratings: I actually just downloaded it to see if it works and yes, it works like a charm. No problems whatsoever, you just need to spell the artist right. Thats it for my review. Also i kinda like the dev since he tries to stay calm even tho some handycapable kids are unable to follow a literally one-step tutorial

It doesn't work on multiple artists. It only recognize the main artists. For example the song "I'm the One" has artist by DJ Khaled and Justin Bieber. But the app only recognize DJ Khaled so when I put %Bieber% it still plays.

First: I'm not a robot/boot/fake, look my maps local guide badge or anything if you are paranoid. Second: Yes, it DOES WHAT IT SAYS. And it can be useful not for everyone, but yes for me! Goodbie %despacito% %bieber%

Lonely concept. Would love if it would be possible to skip all heard songs. You could use the last.fm scrobbling api.

I see people saying this app sucks. But it really doesn't. Does what I need it to do. 10/10 would use again.

Wowwww, problem solved, I can enjoy Spotify radio again (and much more)! No more wasted time skipping thru repeating tracks, artists I disdain, or what I don't want to hear. Thank you for this wonderful, fantastic, effective and essential app. Most useful app I've discovered in long time!

Not sure this is what I need but no use to me at all? Yes I made sure all settings were as they are supposed to be. I just want to skip song on my playlist after 2mins of listening but still telling me i need spotify then a pop up message saying it can skip because if the % i put in... yet still unable to skip. Confused.

App works like a charm, does exactly what it's supposed to do. Each song that gets skipped plays for a split second which is annoying.

If I could raise 5 thumbs up for being a great app, and I was looking through the reviews to see if it good or not and turned out to be good and some made me laugh from on of the Google users who thrown a huge ass fit for not kn9wing how it work XD lol, i love it, just add more stuff to it and dont mind the haters, they are just 8 year olds who rage in Minecraft XDD

This app is a piece of trash, it's not working.. I followed all the basic rules and everything failed to work. Even a single star is not worthy of this app. Never download this one.

I was looking for an app which would block Spotify ads and tried this. Although this doesn't block ads and I uninstalled it because I don't need it, I felt I needed to give it a 5 star rating after having a play around. It does what it's designed for perfectly.

This is a fantastic solution to a common source of frustration with Spotify, and it has an elegant simplicity, namely skipping a track for you when it observes it being played! Wonderful, thank you!

I'm leaving 5 stars for good work! But I have few ideas for further implementations: ability to disable notification and ability to export/import database.
