If you turn it on it disables wifi and all it really does is enable mobile hotspot. Absolute waste of time. You cant have wifi enabled at the same time as this so for the people who think it's working it is not extending your wifi it is just giving you a mobile hotspot to your mobile data which you can do anyway simply by turning on mobile hotspot in settings.
Apparently phones can either be the host or the client (i.e. connect to wifi or share the wifi) so it's not possible, and this app doesnt work.
This app works better than I expected but it has problems. This app will not let me extend a wifi network and also I cannot put a password on the hotspot.
Using to repeat my WiFi to other devices. Thought it didn't work at first, however, once I went in to the setting on my phone and turned the WiFi back on, both the WiFi, and the Repeating worked fine my Samsung S7. Would be nice to have a one click option.
The channel value is always 6 even if i edit this value to 1 or 11. I verify the channel in my laptop.
Waste of time

I have my ps3 in a separate room to my wifi router and get a bad signal of only 15% but I had set up this app and got 100% nut it would do a connection test find the ip of the wifi then say could not connect to Internet
Supply site
It's kind of messed up when you can't even type in numbers in your password
Worked for a little bit
* There is no way to configure the IP address/subnet. * The config doesn't get saved. * There is no DHCP server, so you will need to configure the device on the other end too. If you don't need any of these features (!) then this might be the simplest and fastest no-frills way to set up a WiFi access point, but in all honesty it feels like it's not finished, so I can't recommend it right now.
