Great way to iterate on the concept of 'motion comics' that I've seen before. Story is simple, voice work is good, I'm not a fan of the painted art style. Had minor annoyances with auto play: when I hit a touch point it would carry on in the background, bringing up menu doesn't pause it, and seemed to hesitate too long between panels which killed the mood of the more dramatic action scenes. Have already recommended to friends.

This app really surpassed my expectations! The story was well done, info panels were really neat. Being voiced by Will Wheaton is pretty cool too. This graphic novel is done so well I unlocked the full version. Looking forward to new adventures in the future!

I'm not that enthused about these style of comics. I feel like it's an audio book I am forced to interact with. I would much rather just read a physical comic. I am still giving this app three stars because the art is great.

Team Anomaly once again delivers a great immersive experience if visual, audio & story telling Nirvana! For a product of this level of quality I have to say the in-app price is a colossal steal!!! If the iOS App Store has Operation Ajax then I can proudly say that Team Anomaly evens it out what Google Play Store lacked - A PHENOMENAL interactive Graphic novel called Shifter!!! P.S. - Team Anomaly also has another phenomenal sci-fi graphic novel called Anomaly. Buy it already!!!

Yes this game is totally great but im so stressed that when the downloading freeze at 99%. I retry to download it but when its finnished what is i got is "Actually, Shifter has stopped" and that making me crazy insane..so i delete the app. for some weeks, i try to download it again now with wifi for better graphics. And actually it works, i love it. Plz release another best update :3

Not working on my 16 G Nexus 4. Holding out in hope that they fix it. Update: I can't say enough good things about the responsiveness of this publisher. In about a week they put out a fix to my Nexus 4 issues. And to the publisher themselves, after having an initial look at this ...please, please, please contact Joss Whedon. You need to talk him into allowing you to collaborate with Dark Horse on making a version of this app for the new Serenity Comic.

When I first downloaded this app it wouldn't work for me. However, since the update it has worked perfectly. What I really loved though is that, although I put a comment on the game saying it wouldn't work, the develops put a comment to say they had fixed the issue. And they have. I have now gone through the story and really enjoyed it. I look forward to the next ones.
