Ankerhavens VVW

De App toont de volledige lijst van havens die participeren in het "Ankerproject" van VVW toervaren / VVW Recrea. De status van de verschillende havens wordt in kleur weergegeven. Door klikken op een haven wordt een kaart getoond van de betrokken haven. De kaartinformatie is ofwel Google maps ofwel een specifieke navigatiekaart. De App is uit te breiden met specifieke detailkaarten van de vaarwegen zodat deze kan gebruikt worden voor navigatie. Zie verder. In de nabije toekomst zal het mogelijk zijn direct een reservatie te maken in een haven.

Extra optionele functionaliteit :

Met deze App kan u navigeren op smartphone en tablet. Het gebruikte kaartmateriaal is gebaseerd op het Inland ECDIS formaat v 2.3, de standaard in Europa voor navigatie op de binnenwateren.
Alle benodigde informatie is op de kaarten aanwezig. De kaarten worden op wekelijkse basis bijgewerkt en worden aangeboden in een abonnementsformule met bepaalde looptijd.
De meeste smartphones en tablets beschikken over een ingebouwde GPS zodat onmiddellijk de juiste positie op de kaart kan worden getoond. GPS informatie kan ook worden ingelezen via Wifi van een netwerk aan boord.
De basis functionaliteiten voor scheepsnavigatie zijn beschikbaar en zijn eenvoudig, duidelijk en overzichtelijk:
•tonen van detailkaarten van de vaarweg
•zoeken op plaatsnamen en gebieden
•keuze van details, tekstgrootte en kleuren
•zoom in / zoom out
•varen met Noorden boven of Koers boven
•mogelijkheid tot roteren van de kaart
•automatisch centreren van het schip op de kaart
•weergave van koers en snelheid over de grond
•routeplanning via waypoints (routepunten)
•weergave van IOS maps als alternatief is mogelijk
•weergave van scheepspositie via de ingebouwde GPS
•weergave van AIS informatie via Wifi (optioneel)
