Camera Translator

Very disappointed. Like many others here all I get is "Network is unreachable - cannot download language data." And this is NOT because I do not have a data connection. My network connection is fine for everything else. I set to convert Thai to English but it keeps saying "converting English to English." I was excited to download this app but it is completely useless. Would be very useful if it worked. Please fix.

An unnamed network is unreachable and therefore your only option is translating from English to English. This is an unusable app

Doesn't work, no instructions, no idea if It has captured text

I downloaded the app... and then when I tried to open it crashes. Can't even try it at all.... useless

Tried to open it after installing it and it kept stopping. I immediately uninstalled it.

App wouldn't even open...it kept crashing. What a waste. I've uninstalled it.

Horrible no one should waste there time on downlaoding it and if you do make sure say it was horrible like me

It says network unreachable but it is not true and I am downloading other stuff while trqying to get the data for japanese.....

The app won't even open! I'll try tapping the icon and it just say "Error"

"All your base are belong to us" would be more helpful than constant network failure. I also see that i'm not the only one with this issue.

It is always saying can not reach network when I got full blown WiFi and 4g

AND the translation shows random characters. I have a 13.5MP camera, it's not the camera. It also says that network is not reachable, how would I be making this comment and downloading this app without network? The answer is, I wouldn't.

Usual story, showing no network access, even though there is and although the translate languages were changed in the settings, it wasn't recognised by the app.

Ready to purchase the Pro app, but not able to download Arabic to English language pack, always shows a network error. How to troubleshoot it?

When I change the language to Hindi,Arabic or any other language the app shows "Network is unreachable cannot download user data"......Please solve this.....and Can you tell me the reason?

App doesnt translate japanese to english. Tried scanning a receipt i have from a recent trip to Japan. This app just prpduced an error

I tried japanese translation (my major is japanese language) and it didn't recognize anything.... There were just bunch of random letters... wouldn't recommend

All it would say was that it couldn't connect to the network, and after reading the other reviews I realize it's definitely not just me. Won't download the Arabic package or translate anything.

Honestly would not read any of the words right. It gave me a garbled mess.

Tried to get a translation from Arabic. I am still waiting. There is no way to know that it has caputred the text. Are we supposed to wait for ever? A feed back informing that the text has been captured would be great. Also I am assuming that only the words inside the small window will be translated. That means at most 2 words, and you can't use it for road signs or the menu or a note. The app is a good idea but not this one yet.

Needed to translate some closed captioning on a movie where the captioning was in Spanish. Didn't work nor did it work when tested with regular print Spanish from a pamphlet I had lying around. Just turned out to be a waste of my time and bandwidth. On limited Wi-Fi and program just cost me for useless crap!

App is not working at all, it cant reach some Network and because of that its impossible to translate. Please correct this error and i will give this app a second chance.

How to take photo and how it translate is not clear. Found no any button for taking photo from camera. Also if it show translation of any word then it found wrong.

It could understand what it was trying to translate. It just spit out a bunch of random symbols
