Animation is the process of making the illusion of movement and illusion of change through the quick display of a sequence of images that differ little from each other. It is believed that illusion - as in cinema in general - is based on the phi phenomenon.
Animators are artists who specialize in creating animation. The animation can be recorded either with analog media, a flip book, a motion picture film, a videotape, digital media, including animated GIF formats, Flash animation and digital video. To display the animation, a digital camera, a computer, or a projector are used with the new technologies produced.
Paleolithic rock paintings, where animals are often depicted with multiple legs in superimposed positions, clearly attempt to convey the perception of movement.
A mug of earth discovered on the 5,200-year-old Shahr-e Sukhte (burnt city) site in southeastern Iran illustrates what could be the oldest example of animation in the world. The artefact carries five sequential images representing an Ibex of the Persian desert jumping to eat the leaves of a tree.
The complete animation refers to the process of producing traditional high-quality animation movies that regularly use detailed drawings and plausible movements, with smooth animation. Fully animated movies can be made in a variety of styles, from more realistic animated works produced by the Walt Disney studio (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King) with more " Cartoon "from the Warner Bros. Animation studio.
Many of Disney's animated features are examples of complete animation, as are non-Disney works, The Secret of NIMH (US, 1982), The Iron Giant (USA, 1999) and Nocturna (Spain, 2007). Fully animated movies are animated at 24 frames per second, with a combination of animation on one and both, which means that the drawings can be held for one frame on 24 or two frames out of 24.
Puppet animation typically involves stop-motion puppet figures interacting in a built environment, unlike the interaction of the real world in the animation of the model. Puppets usually have a frame inside them to keep them still and stable to constrain their movement to particular joints. The films of Jirí Trnka and the animated comedy of the adult are examples of the tale of the fox (France, 1937), the nightmare before Christmas (US, 1993), Corpse Bride (US, 2005), Coraline TV series Robot Chicken (US, 2005-present).
