Go Open House Melbourne 2014

This application (Go Open House Melbourne 2014) has been built independently by Aniruddh Fichadia for use during the Open House Melbourne 2014 event. It has been developed as a hobby, and has no affiliation with OpenHouseMelbourne.org, OHM, OpenHouseWorldwide.org, or the Open House Association.

Open House Melbourne 2014 is a free event providing access to the Melbourne's most significant buildings. Most buildings are open access across the event weekend. It provides an educational opportunity for people to learn about city-based industries, history, future, and about the built environment. Through exposure to these spaces, people learn about Melbourne and its culture, and the impact of good design.

The annual Open House Melbourne weekend (26 – 27 July 2014) provides a rare opportunity to access and discover over 100 significant buildings designed for Melbourne from a broad range of building types, styles and periods.

The features of the Go Open House Melbourne 2014 app include:
- A listing of all buildings, including descriptions and images
- An interactive map with all building locations
- A basic border around each building
- Get relevant info about events when you need it (such as a description of the event, pictures, points of interest, and a website). You can browse event info by physically entering an event perimeter or by clicking it on the map.
- Plan your trip ahead of time using the inbuilt itinerary
- Automatic itinerary updates when you visit buildings
- Sharing with social media (upon entry)
- Quickly search events while being able to see them on the map
