Rings Extended

sadly like all good things, it comes to an end. This app was extremely useful for EVERY phone I've had since the G1! Now the app has shown it's age and the most important button has completely stopped working. Goodbye Ring Extend! you've been so great to me!

Loved this app on my S2, and on my S5 while running KitKat. Upgraded to Lollipop, and found, like others, that some buttons don't work anymore. Will try to reinstall, but I'm not sure that'll fix it. Edit - just tried, no dice.

It seems as though I'm not the only one with this issue, but the app isn't available for selection anywhere in the sound settings, anymore. Is there any way this issue can be fixed? It used to work perfectly well earlier, but it's gone AWOL with the lollipop update

If you are using some sort of screen filter or brightness adjuster (such as Lux), you can not press the "ok" button when selecting a ringtone. Oddly enough, the "cancel" button works fine. This is apparently an issue across multiple roms and Android versions.

For some reason my Nexus 5 stopped accepting any other sound files except the system sound files. This app provided access to some internal Android file picker that would allow me to freely choose other sound files again.

It works like a charm but I can't see where the google music selection is. The screenshot on the play store has it but mine doesn't. Little misleading there

Not showing the selector after an update to clock while ago. Ringtones and notifications still work like supposed to. Nexus 6P.

My phone is not "broken" like this claims.. they just have not updated for new phones. Disappointed.

This app was amazing. Hence the word was. The OK button stopped working thus making this app useless.

I can not live without this app. Seriously. It is the most important app in life the universe and everything! If re didn't exist I reconsider having a smart phone

Love the app, but the OK button has a way of not working every now and then... Until they can fix this issue, I'm uninstalling. I can't change ringstone if I can't press okay to confirm the changes....

I've had this on every Android phone I've owned. Makes customizing alerts, alarms, and ringtones super easy.

Only does what's needed to do its job, with a clean but still useful interface. No hidden crap.

Does now, so great to be able to use songs in my native alarm app. Having problems getting it to work again though, unable to click OK once I've selected an audio file

New apps come along but this one is still the best. Thank you. I love it on my Note 5.

I used this on older phones. But my new phone is running android 5 and this app is now useless

Looked good, but it doesn't work for Lollipop 5.0 . I hope that can be fixed soon.

Saved me trouble and space from downloading other apps to replace the ones that could not allow me to choose my own music! Phones like the Nexus or Samsung that would not let you custom choose your own mp3s for calls, notifications, alarms, etc should definitely get this app.

I used to be able to use any ringtone notification that was saved on my phone or SD card for alarms ringtones and notifications and now only certain ones can be used on my new phone

A must have. Should be part of default Android apps., this is a vast improvement over Android's default method. Galaxy S4 Android 5.0.1

Selectively stopped working back when I had Android 4.4. After updating to 5.0, it straight up doesn't work anymore.

The app still allows me to select a ringtone from my music, but the phone pays a standard Nexus 4 ringtone when I get a call

Because it shows that I don't have it on my home page any were but when I go on my app store it showed that I did have now its messing up my tablet and I only gave 1 star

Used to love it..worked on Samsung S3 and S5 KitKat. My S5 upgraded to Lollipop and now the app no longer works. Will there be a fix...or at least some feedback about this?

Lets you select any music from your phone for a ringtone :) full songs and all ;)

I tried downloading a ringtone and for some reason I could not use it. This app is a major help

For some reason, Android 5 wouldn't recognise a custom ring tone, that I placed in the Ringtones folder. After a lot of frustration and searching, I installed this app, which let me set my required ring tone. I'm happy.
