Camera Super Pixel

The images are larger. You 'can' zoom in on an area further. The quality of the photos however is lacking. Colours are muted, sharpness is nonexistent, and you really have to 'work' at it in order to get something desirable out the images. I think if the developer focused on image enhancement a bit more (especially in the sharpness department) this could prove to be a useful app. Currently not worth purchasing at this point.

Great results on my Samsung S7 (some minor demosaicing patterns here and there, but certainly not visible enough to detract from the clearly superior results of super-resolution). Towards the final product, though, I would suggest a few additions such as selectable number of pictures taken (if possible), and an option to store the result as a non-compressed PNG (or, even better, DNG).

I don't know what I expected. As far as I can tell, this app juste stretches the pictures and sharpens the edges. The result is a blurry, noisy mess, that is *NOWHERE NEAR* 49 megapixels, yet wastes precious storage space and battery. In fact, the pictures consistently look worse than the default Google Camera with HDR+ at 12 megapixels.

I like this app and am glad that it's available for the S7. Would like the option for SD card storage for photos and flash support. I went ahead and bought the paid version of this app in hopes of getting more features. Will give it five stars later on down the road when more features become available.

Great improvement to quality I can get out of my G5 (main 16mp) camera now, please support the 2nd back wide angle cam too. That can use some more detail and would be awesome for super panorama shots! I happily paid for this app and look forward to future development, with hopefully some more camera settings too (shutter, ISO, WB, flash). Keep up the good work!

I really did not expect this to work, or at least not work well. Is it the same quality as a $50,000 SLR at 50mp? No. Is it even the same quality as a 35mm SLR or APS-c sized SLR at 24mp? Of course not. Cell phones never will be that quality, but it IS AMAZING that a phone can be tricked to take a picture like this. VERY slow, some lag even on a Nexus 6. But it DOES work. Keep up development. I'm donating to this because it deserves it.

Problem there is fuc*ing adds I was trying few camera apps until now and this app really have the best results so thank you waiting for more features flash support wold be nice but until now as a beta it's great

tested "camera Super Pixel:" at front camera so far and !! you can see different sometime better like its more then 5mp l8r i'll test back cam l8r PS XDA brought me here Edit: tested now with back camera result are bad... is like 2mp... result only good for front camera both tests i compared shots, with sony app vs super pixel app (at zoom level) ive shot far picture billboard with text, with CSP barely couldn't read very blurry while sony app was fine and sharp, again but with front camera for selfie works great so its just ok (for now)

Really, its very awesome. Kindly make it ad-free and include all those feature of a stock camera (video, front/rear facing cam, etc) so that I can fully replace it with my stock cam. Can you please take advantage of lg g5 secondary wide angle lens. Its only drawback, is that it's only 8mp

The images it produces are technically larger, but there is no noticeable improvement in picture quality. In other words, you can zoom in a lot more, but at the same zoom level there is no more detail than you get from the stock camera app. In other words it's roughly equivalent to just resizing a normal picture to be much larger

Images suffer from a lot of digital noise even in light environments. The addition of full manual controls will be great

Front camera result in Nexus 5 is exceptional so this app becomes my permanent selfie app..though back camera requires some work bcz still Google camera with HDR+ wins in many cases , so is there any chance to get HDR+ in this app ?..keep improving you guys have potential

Dropped 2 stars. Seems like it was nothing but a cash grab. No updates in months. This app works perfectly. It does take a steady hand but results speak for themselves.

It works great on Galaxy S7 and it produces shots with more detail, almost always, and it isn't slow, so there's little chance of blur, even with the OIS of the S7. Also, it would be even more amazing if there were resolutions of 100MP like on a Blu phone.

It's cool but the focus is not good as google camera. It takes much time to take a picture and it's not so focus on far object. I already compared the focus with google camera

Few tests. Static images with fixed phone. The stock camera app on Nexus 6p gives sharper, better quality pictures. Resolution is not everything. I'll wait for the version 1.0 and will try again.

There's a lot of grain that HDR and HDR+ can get rid of, other than that, wow! Really impressive work!

Makes my s7 very very very very very very very hot like microwave and drane the battery very very fast. The app itself is not bad but not 48mb like in description i would say it makes my 12 s7 camera a little bit higher like 16 or 18

Thank you soo much for this app dev. ☺ i have this thought of increasing megapixel through software tricks since the time i have used my oppo find 7......now i am using oneplus 2 and samsung s7... On oneplus 2 the result is very good but one samsung the stock camera when zoomed in has lot of detail... But on oneplus 2 the app mostly crashed at 50 to 70 percent processing so little dissatisfied.... The processing stops as soon as the app exits so please provide processing in background.... Pls add more feature like video ,hdr effects,flashlight,and some basic menus. Best of luck developer..

This app used to be fantastic on the Nexus 6P, but keeps crashing whenever I take a picture on the Pixel.

Thanks for keep it people instead giving bad reviews you do realize that this a beta and not meant for everyone so stop with bad reviews

...would be better if it also has powerful resolution for 4:3 ratio shots. For now it only has 12mp using super pixel mode. Hope this gets fixed soon. Also love to see it on 2015 top-of-the-range Xperia phones like the z4 and m5.

This was suggested to me by shah Faisal Khan ..... We like the clarity but we would like you to add the qualities of stock camera so that we can replace with our stock camera....... We're OnePlus users and we NEVER SETTLE

Did the ultimate test with Photoshop...it works well but you kind of have to use a tripod or rest your palm on something while shooting

The app certainly gives you bigger pictures, and I think we're on to somthing. however it is lacking in the color reproduction and sharpness.

Currently does not work with LG V20. Whenever you press the capture button, it immediately crashes.

Would you please make your "algorithm" supports the both back camera on lg g5, i think one picture with the two cameras would be amazing and unbeatable.

Doesn't work at all. Images are no sharper and image size is larger for no reason. Bad. Very bad

Front camera result is superb !!! But...need a bit of work too....it can not take sharper images with rear camera and HDR is missing....but still amazing

Huge quality improvement over stock camera

When i switch on or off save location nothing changes i dont see the point unless its suppose to change the location of the picture saves. I dont think its working

xda got me to this. Works great for front cam but rear is not much of an improvement and I cannot ise my flash! WHY?

After exit the app, it closes all my other apps in memory
