Sun Position and Sunrise Demo for Android
it is helpful, I don't need the full version even.
Great app.. Works as advertised
Very useful app
I downloaded this app specifically for the widget that I could place on my home screen to view the sunrise and sunset time but, no matter what style of widget I select, a blank white box shows up on my screen. Will have to download something else instead. It's a shame because I was looking forward taking advantage of the additional position information
It's a decent app, but I don't see why it absolutely must use GPS. Setting the location manually in Preferences only sets for the app, not the widget. If GPS is turned off the widget is useless. And $5.50 for the full version is too much. Especially if it still requires GPS always on. Sorry, not willing to pay to find out.
Not very reliable. The sun position in the app changes a lot, and only give you a sort of indication, of where the sun will rise. I tried it yesterday with the sun rising, and it was way of. The map version instead of virtual one works better.
1) You need to have gps enable to view anything. 2) The widget does not work. No matter which style is chosen its blank. Needs to be fixed. And I'm not the only one with such an issue.
Tells me all the things I want to know, sunrise to sunset, golden hour(s) as well as moon rise and moon set and moon phases... plus more
My compass works just fine in GPS status app, but is completely inaccurate with this app. The orientation is not being correctly calculated.
UI is ok but the PRO version is way too expensive. And also, the app has not been updated since late 2015. I would not buy an app with that kind of support.
9am and indicator shows sun at 11am. GMT and network time set on phone, this is worse than BST when it was an hour out. No response from developer after 12 days.
but the sun position is wrong. solve the problem.
This app helps me keep my solar panels oriented. So its helps alot
Only shows where I am. I want to go somewhere and see the position of the sun from somewhere else on the map
Not reliable when you change the location it still gives the timings of the previous place.
The interface is a bit involved; takes some time getting used to.
I rated 5 stars for the accuracy but please offer an option for the 12 hour clock and not just military time. Thanks.
I can't complain. Is not accurate but is for free :) Thx
Not controllable enough for what I require.
Even the demo app is good for planning where to sit during an eclipse, or a concert. I want the tree to block the sun for a long concert. But I want to see the sun during an eclipse.
This is a 1 day demo. What a joke.
This app gives you precise details, but doesn't flood you with detail ad nauseum! I find it very useful!!!!!
Perfect for pilots planning. Let's you see what time sun will be where. Let's you avoid driving or flying into the sun.

Some limitations in the free version but that's what you would expect. Fairly accurate for tracking the sun and it's nice that it provides info on the moon cycle as well. I would upgrade to full version but I think it's a bit expensive.
Perfect for my needs as someone who likes to catch sunsets and know when to catch the first stars at night
Says to calibrate so i went to calibrate but there are no functions to do so or at least nothing obvious. App is built to sell you other stuff.
I let my plants get natural sunlight thru window. This app let's me know where, when, and how much sunlight any gets in your home, or outside.
In the dark you can see the light, with this app you can follow that light through the darkness
Went to Newgrange and decided to get fancy with standing stones and yard decorations. Perfect for helping with that set up.
In Page Arizona astronomical twilight starts at 14:34 on February 28.

You guys are collecting all that data and giving it to your advertisers, I expect more from the free version.
Great app. It was spot on for sunrise sunset But needs gps, if necessary you can input position manually.
Great app with clean design. Would be perfect if widget would use a saved location rather than GPS.
Sun rise and set application is a simple app for just that , good for knowing when it will be dark. So far so good.
Perfect app for Solar panels installation
need GPS on
This is handy in winter to know where the sun and moon should be.
