This app is great, but there are no "regular" minor scales sounds

M70%
by M####:

I love that I can make customised lists of scales, and hit the random button so I never work the "easy" scales too much. For instuments that practice intonation, you can play along too so it's a great trainer!

the app is great to practice the violin scales together with. will be better if able include violin long tonic play.

I finally decided to upgrade to get the 3 octave and arpeggio options. I didn't realise I was also getting dominant 7ths and diminished 7ths. And I looove that I can save my play list. Then today I just discovered that I can loop play and change the instrument. Brilliant. I understand that you can't make the exercises to fit all exam boards, but that would be an option for future versions. A feature you should definitely include in future versions is a long tonic (Trinity requires it).

Really good!

It's a nice app that works well. I like the playlist feature as it means that I can group scales that I might need for a particular piece. It would be great if you could add your own scales as there are a couple that are missing

Great app and developer responds to emails.... I suggest if you are still using the free version, buy the paid version.

Perfect to help me learn scales as I go to school.

Great for fretless intonation and execution-recommended!

The app & idea is good but needs a lot more work to be up to a 5 star. I bought the pro version to have more options but for a low register instrument (tuba) is not yet good. Basics: The octave 1 is not available, quaver notes or semis not available, twelfth (used a lot for exams), not possible too . Advanced: Other options could be to have different patterns/rhythms for practice such as triplets and dotted/legato notes. Keep up the good work!

This is going to brilliant for student's exam preparation. Feature request... Would be good to be able to have quaver and semi subdivisions so that count in remains 4 beats on random play mode... Also 12ths for sax would be helpful. Otherwise, great app!

Super helpful. Thank you!

I think this is okay for full length scales but it doesn't have the scales for Twelfth especially for Saxophone. Another problem is the the Dominant 7th Scale begins on the Tonic and not on the 5th (Dominant ) which is what is required for ABRSM exams.

App should include options to see names of notes played and notes being played on piano and guitar.

U70%

The reason I give this app five stars is, it shows the octaves in each of the keys. That is clever thinking.. That's a shout out to the app developer that thought of doing that!!

M70%

I am an old guitarist, that having just suffered a brain injury is having to relearn things again, I am self taught, so SPP is of real benefit to me, to program what to focus on, and remind me of the progress I'm making, whilst making sure I don't waste time "learning" mistakes...give it 5/5 thanks guys
