This app was so much better before the update. Now it is basically unusable. Articles or videos embedded with mystery "music" or advertising. The only way to stop it is to leave the app, making it impossible to read the articles. Will visit sites without this app until an update fixes this.

Once great app, now has turned into a steaming pile of crap. DO NOT INSTALL!!! If you have it, uninstall immediately!

This used to be a decent app, convenient for finding news and articles on the most popular liberal sites. Now it's useless, will almost never load and even when it does open it will shut down usually when I'm right in the middle of reading something. Tired of the frustration. Will have to uninstall.

This used to be my favorite app. Now, the ads lock it up to the point that it's unuasable. Spare yourself the frustration of not being able to access the content and just move on. Me? Uninstall time.

Depending on the source you choose, pages load zoomed in. Since there's no way to zoom out or scroll left/right, the pages are unreadable. TPM is a good example.

I hate this app. The updates have made it worse. The claim is that interstitial ads were removed....what HAS happened is that NOW when it crashes every few minutes there is no redirect to report it. Nice...like I would gamble on the paid version now with these liars at the helm. This app sucks. The 4.1 average comes from either when this app worked or given the disingenuous attitude of the developers, shill reviews.

After clicking on a news source, all that appears is a banner ad and no news. If you like looking at ads, but not the content you wanted, this is fine. Otherwise, avoid this and just bookmark the sites directly and cut the developer out of his ad revenue. Uninstalling.

Almost nothing works. What is not blocked by ads, never responds. Do yourself a favor and find the sites you want apart from this.

Some sites like Alternet, Dailykos, Right Wing Watch used to load all stories at once - so you could swipe right to next story quickly & great for travelling & preloading stories where you can't easily get internet. Now between each article you must reload the whole main page - Alternet now the worst - 10MB each story & 10MB each time you get back to its main page & if you even jump out of app & return it loads 10MB again! I now always go over my phone data plan. I switched to Ghostery browser - Better!

Used to be good, but come on. Half the sites don't load and they still haven't removed Gawker! They messed this up big time.

Great idea, terrible execution. The ads are not implemented right. It causes the app to freeze up constantly. If the ad appears at the top of the screen, the app will not load.

This is the worst app I've downloaded (and deleted) by far. POS. Crashes, freezes, won't load, ads get stuck.

Good luck trying to read anything. Locks up every single time.

Liar, Liar pants on fire.

Love the content, but 80% of the time now, said content won't load. Just get an empty screen, sometimes with the ad bar. Too frustrating. Really hope this gets fixed.

Links to about 20 of the largest news outlets, which are difficult to read with the numerous and flashing ads. "Newspapers Pro" gives you hundreds - large and small - without the distracting nonsense.

Reading news on this app in a silent environment, and a sudden full-screen animated app with sound took over...no way to back out or cancel with "home"--had to play loud ad in entirety. I understand the need for ads to support the app, but a full-screen takeover ad with noise that can't be closed when it starts without warning is a dirty trick.

If I didn't know better, I would think the GOP bribed you to break this app. We need it. It's the only source for aggregated liberal sites, some aren't well known at all, but should be. Without it, what's left. Fix it! The ad engine is broke.

The ads are locking up the news. I click on a site, and all that shows is a tiny banner ad that I can't get rid of. And no news. If this reload does work, I'm deleting it forever.

All im getting on my screen is the add banner. It wasn't always like that, but now it's the case, and it's very frustrating.

Fantastic app, I absolutely love the choices. It's introduced me to sources I wouldn't otherwise check. I use this app daily. Only issue I have is that it crashes, now to the point where I can't open it on my galaxy s5

FireDogLake is permanently offline and National Review hasn't updated since October 2015. Plus it freezes or crashes pretty frequently. And now way too many ads.

The app includes progressive topics from a variety of websites. I like it. It is a breath of fresh air from all of the conservative claptrap and nonsense out there. This is in line with my beliefs and values

This was once good (though always a memory hog). Recently though, it stops working and shuts down a lot, and very often, after clicking on a site or an article...you just get a blank screen.
