Using the full version for some years now on my Acer tablet, no problems with file tranfers, the user layout looks great to. This program is family tree viewer not builder, great for showing research to aunt Mabel, if you want a builder there are other apps, as for paying for the full version, well worth it, support is first class to from the developer if needed.

Great app. I have a research database of over 100k relatives. I was concerned the program would not be able to handle the data and photos. Although it took 18 hours to convert the gedcom file into a Gedstar file, it works flawlessly on the Asus Transformer epad. The biggest surprise is the relationship calculator that displays exactly how two people are related. Thank you GHCS Software. The only improvement I would recommend is edit capability.

I used Gedstar back in the days of the Palm pilot before its battery fried and died, and now this wonderful utility works on Android - better than ever before. File conversion from The Master Genealogist is faultless and the transfer of files using Dropbox is a touch of genius, gone are the days of cradles and cables and all that stuff! The database format screens follow closely that of TMG, so users of other programs might find a bit of a difficulty in navigating around until you get used to it. I now have detailed data on nearly 6000 individuals sitting comfortably on my Nexus in my jacket pocket. So cool.
