Putra kelahiran Cina berkebangsaan Malaysia, Ustadz Hussain Yee merupakan sosok yang cerdas dan unik di antara dai-dai internasional. Gaya penyampaian dan kalimat beliau yang bersahaja, padat namun bernas, menjadi daya tarik beliau.Dilahirkan di keluarga beragama Buddha, Ustadz Hussain akhirnya memeluk Islam pada tahun 1968 saat berusia 18 tahun. Kemudian, beliau melanjutkan studi ke Universitas Islam Madinah di Arab Saudi, mengambil jurusan Hadits, di mana beliau berkesempatan menimba ilmu kepada ulama Hadits ternama, Syaikh Muhammad Nashiruddin Al Albani. Sebagai Ketua Al-Khadeem sejak 1984 hingga sekarang, beliau bercita-cita untuk menciptakan keamanan dunia dan sikap berperikemanusiaanyang lebih baik dengan berasaskan Al-Quran danSunnah Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam.Di antara kontribusi Organisasi Al-Khadeem yang paling penting ialah proyek bernilai jutaan ringgit Malaysia, yakni Rumah Harapan Al-Khadeem (Home of Hope), yang memberikanperlindungan, bantuan dan keamanan bagi anak-anak kurang mampu dan para janda yang sangat membutuhkan.
