ولد الشيخ الدوسري بمحافظة الخرج، يناهز عمره حاليا 36 سنة، متزوج وأب لابنين وبنتين.
يشغل الشيخ الدوسري حاليا عددا من المناصب الأخرى، فهو عضو في هيئة التدريس بجامعة الملك سعود ، وعضو لجنة أوروبا بالندوة العالمية للشباب الإسلامي، إلى جانب عضويته بعدد من الجمعيات الإسلامية بالسعودية. وقد صنفته مجلة "جمعية إنسان " ضمن أكثر الشخصيات المؤثرة في المجتمع.
