Johnson City is the crossroads of the Texas Hill Country, the county seat of Blanco County, and conveniently located at the crossing of U.S. highways 290 and 281. It is the hometown of President Lyndon Johnson, and although it is a small hill country town, it still boasts some of the biggest personalities in Texas.
