Income Expense Visuals

FinAn is a NextGen income expense tracker which helps you visualize your banking(Credit and Debit card) transactions using next gen visualization techniques all on your phone!
All this is done using your bank SMS messages. We understand that your privacy is very important, hence your
sms data never leaves your phone! Come visualize,analyze and stay on top of your spending's.

If you thought handling too many bank accounts or credit cards was a monstrous task, it is about time that you are proved wrong! Here is an app which will help you summarize all your banking transactions according to your accounts/debit/credit cards based on your SMS.
It's not just the numbers but the attractive interface and interactive visuals that would make money management a lot more easier. Track your income expense easily.

-Settings Tab

Link your card number to account number by entering ONLY the last four digits.Enter bank name and click save.Add all your cards on the settings tab.View details on account details section.Once your cards have been setup click on home tab,time for some mind boggling visuals

- Sankey View
Sankey diagrams are a specific type of flow diagram, in which the width of the arrows is shown proportionally to the flow quantity. They help you visualize the volume of money transfers between your accounts and various merchants you have transacted with.Snap through your account activities by month using the arrows on the header.Click on a particular flow ,which pops up a summary of the selected transaction. Details shown include - Account Number,Money spent/earned,bank name,merchant details.Click on summary tab to view all the transactions by month in a tabular fashion.Any new transaction on the card would be automatically plotted on this view.

- Pie View

Pie chart shows income, expense and balance details by month. Click on any of the pie, a drilled down view of all the specific transactions is displayed. This view gives a perspective of where the money was spent. Additionally also check the summary of all transactions in a tabular fashion by clicking on the summary tab. Navigate by month using the arrow keys displayed on the header to get details for a specific month.

-Map View

Map view displays all your transactions plotted on the google maps. This map can help you visualize all the merchant locations where your card was used. Clicking on each of the marker would display the merchant name and the amount that was spent. Please note the merchants you have interacted with AFTER this application was installed would be displayed.

- Offline SMS records -
Maintain offline records of your bank sms; Even if you delete your sms this app would still maintain your records.

Currently we support Indian HDFC and Citibank SMS messages.If you do not see a specific SMS getting picked up by the application please drop a note to help.epf@gamil.com
