About Comic Shopper 1

Comic Shopper 1 gives you an advanced list of comic books, cards, games and related graphic art and science fiction pop-culture merchandise released each week.

Easily select the items you plan to buy that week, from convenient lists grouped by publisher, alphabetically, or your own favorites.
For most comic books you can view the cover (alternatives too) and a description of the contents.
When you shop at your local comic book store, your selections become your personal pull list, and you check off in the shopping list each purchase made.
Should you not buy some or all of the items that week, they stay in your shopping list even as the next week's list arrives.
As you record what you buy, that helps the app to determine and highlight your favorite comic book series, making future selections speedier.

Never again miss the the release of your favorite comic books, you'll know the exact date they are due in the stores.
Never again wonder if you bought that issue or that variant cover, it's there in your shopping list until you check it off.
You'll have access not only to the current week's releases, but those from the previous week and the upcoming week as well.
Useful if you are a serious comic book collector fulfilling your weekly pull lists, or if you are a casual shopper looking for only a select few comic titles.

Its not working...:-( The new lists are not loading and if they do, they disappear the next time I open the app. I have tried seeing if my settings are off but that doesn't seem to be the problem

Great app. Took some getting used to in order to learn how it works, but then I felt a bit stupid when I realized how simple it is. My only complaint would be that after downloading the new list, I often lose the options for previous, upcoming, current, or previous lists (usually all of them, but occasionally only some; for example: I may have current available, but not the rest). Currently, my only options are Shopping Lists (grayed out), Main List, Preview List, Purchased List (2x). No other options are available as of a few minutes ago when I retrieved the new lists. Phone: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Running: Android 7.0 Kernel: 3.18.31-11614766 Build No.: NRD90M.G935AUCU4 BQF3 I can provide any other info if you need it to resolve this. I've noticed this seems to occur more often on our around Wednesday (new comic book day). Please keep me updated on any fixes for this issue. On another note, how long does it typically take for the app to start generating a Favorites List? I've been using it for a couple months or so (I think) and I don't have anything listed under favorites yet. Should I change the Favorites setting to base it on less than the past year? That's what it's currently set for. Also, I purchase the regular covers plus as many variant covers as I can find. Would it be possible to add the price to the variant covers as well? The shops I go to sell them at cover price, so the price wouldn't be any different than the regular cover. It would help immensely with my budgeting. As it is now it only gives me a total of what Comic A, B, C, and D would cost total, but it doesn't account for any of their variants because there is no price listed. In other words, would it be possible for you to add the cover price cost to all the variant covers so I can have a more accurate total in my list? Thanks, Chris Updated 08/27/2017: All bugs fixed after last list update. All lists are available, all dates accurate, and I now have a favorites list. Would still like to see the cover price added to all variants, but I also understand that not all comic book shops charge only the cover price for variants. Changed rating from four stars to five.

I love this app. Conceptually, it's amazing. It's quite useful in managing my pull list. My old complaint is that the upcoming list has a few issues: sometimes, it doesn't exist, and other times, it is just a copy of the current week.

I use this app all the time to make sure I get my books in my pull list. But recently I have noticed that it does not add all the weeks together to give me a total of my complete list. It just gives totals for individual weeks.

I've used this app in the past and recently re-downloaded it. It's the best at what it does, and works well. The pull lists occasionally take a bit too long to update for my tastes, but overall it's a solid app.

Great app. Only question. Can you transfer data between devices?

Great app, but I can't seem to view any covers?

Works as advertised, helps me keep track of my pull list and books that look interesting for a shelf buy too . Was just what I needed.

U70%
by U####:

Works as it should, mostly. It would be nice if it could store more than one previous week's list. And when adding a comic to the list, it would be helpful if it could search something so you could add an actual comic instead of a set of words that got put together. Also, I sometimes lag behind a week or two with checking my list, so I have auto update unchecked. It still pulls the new lists. It hasn't caused a problem so far, but I hadn't completely checked the list from two weeks ago, so I might have lost something. I know that's my business, but the fact that unchecking auto-update doesn't work is a problem.

Works great for showing what's out and upcoming. 2 issues, when viewing an item it will randomly jump back to the top of the list instead of where yo uh just were. 2nd is there needs to be a way to just show books instead of merchandise.

N70%
by N####:

Used to be great, but 2016 updates have removed the ability to see covers, made seeing which price matches which listing difficult, and led to frequent inaccessible weekly listings.

Would like to see an option where I could go back to a week that I may have missed. Pick a week within the past month or so. If it's feasible.

Only problem artwork doesn't download sometimes, but not that big of a deal for me. This app is essential if you buy comics every week.

Try to add items from the upcoming week list, but they no longer show up on the preview list. Current week and main list still work.

I use to live by this app but now I'm pretty much having the same issues as the previous poster. It won't save checked titles and unchecks them when I go back to look at the publisher's lists. I've un- and re-installed it 4 times and still have the same issue.

I've used this app religiously every week. And because I get so many comics this is a must have. If you buy comes faithfully weekly, or just pick up a few here and there this is an app that you have to have. Don't take a chance and miss that next issue, get Comic Shopper.

Maybe I'm just incompetent but this app feels needlessly complicated, It won't let me access the pick list option and I can't just add a series that I'm currently buying.

Been using this for years. Best.

N70%

Let's me keep track of everything I need each week. I think the only thing that could be improved is a way to keep track of older comics or to have an account for yourself. I had to factory reset my phone this past weekend and lost all my favorites and can't go back to an older week to find them. Not too big of a deal but something that could make the app better.

I really love this app, it's indispensable for me as a comic fan. Works well but a recent switch to a nexus five seems to have caused a problem, and it's crashing quite often. I'm confident the problem will be fixed as the app seems to have a robust update cycle.

Not only am I seeing incorrect title release dates, but cover art is being mixed up with other covers & some titles & companies aren't even being listed. You guys were 5 star now you're barley holding onto 3. I really love this app and like to see it fixed!
