Be sure to try out the new feature in "Speakerphone" section "Set to on when face-up". This basically makes moving the phone from ear to ear much more practical as it will not turn on the speakerphone again right away. Once you decide you want it on again, just hold it momentarily face up and speakerphone is on again.
(Please make sure you exclude SpeakerPhoneEx from any Task killers.)
SpeakerPhoneEx - Pro is a simple application that stays in the background and takes minimum battery power.
It adds a few extra features to your phone-calls using your phone's proximity sensor, gravity sensor and touch sensor.
It adds:
1. The ability to Auto answer your call when you hold the phone close to your face (not compatible with all phones).
2. The ability to turn the speakerphone on/off automatically based on several configurations.
3. The ability to auto hangup based on several configurations.
Take a look at the screenshots to get a better idea on the options provided.
KNOWN ISSUES:

* On Galaxy Nexus 4, the screen doesn't turn off the first time, once you Auto Answer, when you hold it away from you then back to your ear, it works then.
* On Duel Sim phones, Auto answer only works on one of them, Unfortunately there is no immediate fix for this because Duel Sims are not officially supported by the Android OS.
* S-View currently conflicts with the app and doesn't work as Intended.
* We have conflicting results about Android 4.4 (KitKat) we appreciate if you drop us an email.

While we try our best for this app to work on the widest range of phones without any problems, sometimes the app will fail. If you do experience any problems, please do contact us to address the issue, we can't fix a problem if we don't know about it. We added a very easy logging feature to the app to minimize your bug reports.
Light sensor note: Not all phones can use their light sensor properly, even if the hardware supports it, there is a built in test which will decide that for you.
Some ROMs are bugged that will make SpeakerphoneEx use a lot of battery power (2%-3%) if you use the Light sensor, if you experience this, please turn off the light sensor feature and contact us.

Use to work great. It blows out my ear drum now. My ear speaker is also the speakerphone speaker on my Moto g5 plus. I will be talking and it just goes to full volume speaker phone.

When I get incoming calls from unknown numbers ( the numbers are displayed but the contact is not in my phone book contacts), I cannot answer the call. When this app has been uninstalled I have no problem. I use ex dialer. I really would like my money back for this reason or a fix.

Loved this app so much I decided to go for the full version. Now it never works as efficiently. Always needing to verify my license daily. I already paid for the app and you took my money so why do you need to verify daily that I paid for it?!

Using a Nexus 5X, also used it on original Nexus 5 and both phones it works fine. Very convenient, when you need to talk and can't hold the phone. Pick it up hold it to your ear and the speaker phone shuts off for you. I paid for the pro version to support the devs..You should too, writing code is hard work.

This app interferes with the proximity sensor on my S6 preventing me from using my IR remote. Not sure how to fix it but it's useless as it is now.

Dontcha hate when you want to switch to Speakerphone and you miss what's being said doing it? With this, you just pull it away from your ear to hold it face up and it switches over as you're doing it! It's also for more than that. Ever make those phone calls that suddenly ask you to start using your Keypad to select options, punch in your Acct #, etc.? And then you rush to switch to Speakerphone to start it? This solves it! Just take the phone away from your ear and start punching in #'s!

I haven't had any trouble with this apps so I bought the pro version. For me it simply has worked as advertised. I'm on OS build 6.0.1 on my 5x with no issues at this point in time.

There is a delay in answering the call even if I set the delay as None. Hence, the ringing is making disturbance in my ear. Kindly rectify the error. Some times the auto answering mode does not work especially when the phone picked up from pocket and raise to ear. Also, why can't you include the auto dialing option too when phone raise ear? My phone is Yureka working on Android 4.4.4 Cyanogen 11

Excellent implementation. It provides many settings that you can try-and-error in case something is not working efficiently. In my phone (Nexus 4 4.4.2) is working without any problem.
