Sprayscape for Android
Funny how this app by Google doesn't support the latest Google camera API and it's upsidedown on a Google Nexus 5X

Clearly anyone giving this app 1 or 2 stars didn't read the description or watch the video. It is also possible they are just too stupid to use it correctly. Don't be like the 100's of stupid people who so far did not read about the app first and gave it only 1 star. I can't wait to see this app in a few updates. Definitely a keeper
It does what it says, but I'm really lost on the purpose of this. The results are just plain ugly and pretty useless. I know this isn't meant to be photosphere, but I just see no use for whatever this is.
The app wants to provide what Google already accomplished a few years ago with the photosphere in their camera app on Nexus devices. But it didn't improve or even live up to the photosphere, unfortunately. I hope they'll make it better over time, especially since 360°-cameras are getting cheaper
Stop freaking out and comparing this to Photospheres because they even say it's imperfect and messy and is meant to be a fun and creative toy. I do think though this has the right idea, if perfected, to be a great way to capture Photospheres without the tedious stitching and whatnot.
I like the idea to draw by taking photos. But it crashes if 1. Choose saved panorama -> 2. Edit -> 3. Change camera view
Quite a different way to make some art. Select the smallest brush and spray the entire scene blurry then the largest to snap a careful and in focus of a friend
Why did Google even create a app like this. Get lots of blurry images and overall it looks like a big mess and don't think it will be useful for many even in vr.
It's fun to play with but the end result is jus a blurry mess, maybe if it recorded what you do it would be better
You'll also need some decent processor power it looks like. My LG-G3 doesn't seem to want to make a crisp-looking canvas.
You can only get one small sphere of a 360 view in focus, or, you can have none of it in focus
But I'd like to have a feature to view the photo without moving the phone just dragging around.. and maybe export the picture in jpg
This app must have been a lot of fun to write! Cool idea, fun to play with and pretty useless ☺️
It very clearly states that this is an experimental app, it's "perfectly imperfect." --- Taking that into account, this app is a lot of fun to play around with!
What is the point of this? Experiment on what? Blurry photos stitched together moving with the phone sensors. This is supposed to be fun??? How so?
Looks OK when you are in motion or whilst recording but quickly loses all visual sense when you stop to look at it. You are running into an issue where the rgb pixels are missing a depth value.
Unfortunately very poor quality
Moving the camera even slightly leads to extremely blurry images. It seems like the gyro in my Nexus 6p isn't calibrated correctly. Rotate 315 degrees in the real world and the canvas rotates 360. No wonder the images are blurry, even for scenes with little to no parallax!
I give it 5 cuz I love the idea but app doesn't works on galaxy s7 edge with android 7.0. crashes after opening. Fix it please
But, could it be just a little less imperfectly perfect?
i like the idea of this app but it needs alot of work to be done.but it is still a fun app
Doesn't produce any actually usable things but it's still cool.
My phone is S7 and it doesn't work. After I open the app, it is suddenly closed.
At first I was confused, but after I watched the video and realized it was a fun, goofy, artsy app, I'm now OBSESSED!!
Blurry image gyro sensors out of sync with what the camera sees no stitching
No gyro what im doing wrong pls tell me
An utterly useless app from Google☠
When I open the app, it just crashes
Pointless app. Results are blurry and have no use.
It doesnt work with all devices
It doesn't work with my AndroidOne.
Perfectly imperfect. Actually great for those who "get it".
Great example of how to convert a bug into feature
